Chemical_X : You might want to give reasons for why that is. I for one find Vista inferior to XP due to poor optimisation, and 7 better than both as it has plenty of features with such a small performance cost.

tails the fox : I guess it's just personal preference, what I'm more used to, etc. I really don't mind the "poor" optimization, I don't really care about that sort of thing, as long as the computer works and can be used for gaming, it works for me.

Chemical_X : If it is poorly optimised then that will make it less suitable for gaming. If you want to play games effectively you want to have as much of your CPU and RAM freed up as possible for the game.

For me personally, I will always stick with Windows 7 for life. It is always easy to use, and Windows 8 has a lot of bug fixes that still needs to be fixed and stuff.

Windows Vista would be my favorite. Simply because of how practical and easy it is to use. I do like the way Windows 95 functions and operates, and I can't get enough of that gorgeous start up music.

I can't stand Windows 8, It's just truly a gawd awful os made by miscrosoft,   The tablet feature is such a pain in the butt to make acess certain things like the note pad,  Were instead of it being on a standard starting thing, You elerdy have to search for it through the tablet interface, gosh that is really annoying.  
I'd prefer windows 7 over any other operating system, it's just nice simple and get's the job done for me.   Despite my love for Xp, Xp is a kind of outdated system,  Xp would defeintly come in a close second place. I'd never tried vista though.. I probably never will

My favorite type of Windows, it’s tied between a Windows XP and Windows 7. Mostly because both of those are pretty well functional and great, I had a Vista, it was alright, but it needed worked with it (why we got the 7) and I don’t really like the new 8.
