I brush my teeth at least once a day.  However, there was a time when I would brush them more.  My husband, on the other hand, NEVER brushed his teeth.  When we both went to the dentist, I had four cavities while my husband absolutely none.  It was totally shocking to me!  Especially because as I grew up I was always told I had really really strong teeth.

This has made me question the effectiveness of toothpaste, in all honesty, so I've been undecided on whether I should use it or not.  I mean, I have been using it, but I can't help but wonder if it really makes that much of a difference, considering how awful my husband's teeth were (so bad they were stained!), and yet he had no problems with them.  (Also, his teeth are softer than mine!)

iSPY! : It's good to take care of your teeth... but you also don't need to overdo it. Brushing more than what's needed is a waste of resources and being too harsh on your gums can cause them to bleed. Balance is the key to anything in life.

I'm surprised so many people brush their teeth three times a day, honestly.  It seems like most of my students don't even care much about hygiene.  And I know the kids aren't brushing after lunch at school.

So most of you guys either aren't attending high school, you're being the weird kid that brushes in the school bathroom, or you're brushing right when you get home???
