I'm just going put this plain and simple what is the difference between the different religions such as catholic, Christian, roman catholic, Judaism, Mormon Jehovah witness, etc. So on and so forth correct me if mi wrong but for the most part they worship the same good and practely have the same bible once again correct me if I'm wrong but ever since I was a little kid I never understood the difference they all seem so similar I'm not the most religious person either but can someone give me a bit of education me on what the differences is between the many religious the have a similar god and similar bile and what country's did said realigns org ante in? please and think you and correct me if  i didnt get any thing i said up top correctly i dont wanna offend any one

Well you should first start looking and reading about the corruption of the Catholic Church during the Medieval period. That pretty much helps explain how Lutheranism got started (or one of the reasons we have Lutherans.) But all the religions that are Christianity in nature believe that Jesus of Nazerith was the Son of God while Judaism believes that he was just a prophet but not the one that is the savior of the Jewish people.

Not a religious person, but by my understanding, they all have these little tiny differences where they can't see eye to eye on, so they make their own religion. In the end, most major religions worship a single deity. The Christian God is the same God as the Jewish God is the same as Allah and so forth. It's just all the little rules and whatnot that vary.

Jewish people only regard the Old Testament (with the exception of a more recent branch of "Christian Jews" that have decided to acknowledge Jesus as the son of God and the New Testament). Christians take the bible as full. I believe Muslims have a holy book that's based on just the first 4 books of the Old Testament or something like that, but I'm a lot shakier on that one.

Christianity was broken into MANY different branches because people would come along and disagree with the Catholic Church (like Martin Luther). And even as there were reforms and chances, people continuously broke off and followed their own ideas of what Christianity should be and started their own churches.

In the grand scheme of things, the differences are very minor... or at least that's what it seems to me. They're all the same but with differences in opinions on some matters.
