Okay I have one that is kind of funny. I had bought a lotto scratch off one day and I had won 20 dollars. A couple of hours later I had bought some Chinese food for dinner and I openned up my fortune cookie and I couldn't remember what it said, but I know that it had something to do with money and I couldn't stop laughing.

The funniest to me are the ones that aren't even TRYING to be Chinese wisdom anymore. I've gotten a few that are just Western proverbs or common sayings... like "a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush" (no, that's not actually what any of them said... that's just the general idea of what KIND of saying I'm talking about... I don't remember any of the phrases off-hand now)

Man I wish I could remember some of the fortunes I taped on my bathroom mirror. (Old practice. Bonus = great place to hide phone numbers. On the back.) (For those who are wondering why? I had a six year old niece running around the house who had no problem getting into the organizer and dialling the numbers just to say "hi".)
Anyway. The Lucky numbers only matched twice in the decades I have had Asian food with the Fortune cookie after ward.
