What are some of life's little pleasures for you? This could be anything that makes you smile or happy, for even the briefest of seconds. For me, I'd say that the number one on my list of LLP is the smell of ripe Honeysuckle. I look forward to it every year - it's such a sweet scent.

Well, I was going to post one related to work but I didn't know if it would be considered a 'little' pleasure.  Probably one of the things that makes me the happiest is when a student comes to me after they've survived my class and says thank you.

As for knowing that a student was listening and learned something, yes, it's most rewarding.  It's what helps a teacher to continue their job and it's always re-motivating.

Hmm... not sure if this counts or not... but I was gonna say biting into a nice hot cookie I just baked fresh out of the oven (works with brownies too). Not only are baked goods awesome right out of the oven like that... but there's something special about enjoying a treat you just worked hard to make.
