At first I use to but my dad made me watch so many scary movies growing up that it takes a lot for me to get scared. I believe the last movie I got scared at was " The Mist. " The ending to that movie was so horrible and it gave me a lot of nightmares.

Unfortunately, I do still get scared from watching scary movies. Luckily, it is no longer anywhere near as bad as it used to be. I used to have night terrors, and would actually feel like the frightening parts of movies were actually going to happen to me. I almost imagined myself in the world of the movie, despite never actually being there, and there being no real threat of imminent danger. Now, when I say scared, the most that I will probably do is jump, and kind of wish I was watching a comedy instead, and it likely will not get any worse than that. It also depends on the time of day. I could watch any scary movie during the day when it is light out, and be perfectly fine. It is when it is dark that things become scary.

I only get scared from supernatural movies, like Ghost movies or movies about witchcraft. Normal slashers don't really un-nerve me, they are quite predictable, but movies like Insidious scare me a lot.

Yes, I get scared if the movie is really scared. Normally after the scary movie I am watching my back and staying awake all night for the next few days.

No, not really, a lot of the scary moves today are more aimed towards sex appeal (which I don't mind all that much :3) and pointless violence. Neither of these make a movie scary, look at the saw series Hollywood.

I am a grown man, but when it comes to exorcist movies I'm like "NOPE", my fiancée said that one day she would act possessed and told her I wasn't responsible for what happened to her

Hm, I don't believe I ever really get "scared" in the scary movies. But I will admit that I am a sucker for major jump scares. Especially if the movie goes silent, and suddenly the threat is RIGHT in your face. It's not cool, man.

No, not really. But then again, I do not like scary movies in the first place. It just really is not my thing.

I say this all the time, classic horror movies are more scarier than these new 1s Today. All these remakes r more of a comedy to me. And these original 1st r more of a joke. Now I have gotten scared watching these movies from the 70's and 80's. I don't even watch these at night, It would be like 3 on a Saturday Afternoon and I'm watching The Burning, but these days I'm not that scared watching a horror movie. Shoot, most of these horror movies have the same old plot and the same type of characters get killed. So Really, growing up I was kinda scared, but as an adult now, It's just a guy in make up.

Most of the time, yes. Which is why I tend to stay away from those types of films.

Honestly, it depends. Things like Insidious and The Haunting of Connecticut give me the jumps sometimes. However, things like Scream haven't aged well at all. The atmosphere is also important- I'm much more likely to get scared from something at two in the morning, alert and anxious than surrounded by others and talking. It's all relative, really.

No, can't say i do. Most "scary" movies are way too predictable and generic for me to harbour any remote interest in them, let alone feel attached to them. It's pretty much cheap jump scares and quasi-scary music.

I think I get more "spooked" than scared, as in I get a bit jumpy and on edge but end up laughing at how silly I have been acting once the movie ends. There have been a few horror films though, that made me feel truly scared and paranoid after they ended, though I'm really not much of a horror fan to really have a bunch of personal evidence to back myself up.

When I was younger I used to get scared at horror movies a lot, especially if there was like ghost girls or something along those lines (The ring, The Grudge). But really not anymore I am actually quite the opposite now, I love going to see horror movies, especially around Halloween it is more or less a tradition for me now on Halloween to go see at least one horror movie regardless at home or in theater in the month of October.

There have been a few that did freak me out a bit; Psycho (the original), Black Christmas (again, the original) and Texas: Chainsaw Massacre (You guessed it, the original). Besides those, I wouldn't say I get scared, more disturbed than anything else. I love horror movies, especially the campy b-movies, like The Evil Dead 2. Bruce Campbell is awesome in that! *Oh look, my hand's possessed, I wonder how that happe- AHHHHHHHH GET IT OFF GET IT OFF*.
