There's really no rule against backseat modding. But some people really find it annoying. Personally, I don't really care, but keep in mind, others don't like it. My advice is not to do it in general. The best thing to do is to get a real mod to squelch the troublemaker.

Yes, we like the member base being helpful, and giving advice when they can. But backseat modding tends to lead to the lack of TP, and a sense of "ugh, not this person again."

Yea, I thought that's how it was. I just know I saw another member do it /really/ bad and I was like... "Jeez, hasn't that person ever learned that it is not their job?" This was more an issue of curiosity than anything. Thanks for the quick responses.
