I made a thread but JusTReal closed it and told me to put it here. I'm not sure if this is related to the migration or not, I think it has more to do with the plugin.


Pokemon red rescue team wasn't saving for me, so I decided to reinstall the plug in. I've reinstalled the plug in before and kept all my save files, no problem. But this time when I deleted it, it asked me to delete settings or something, and said that I only select no if upgrading version. I wasn't upgrading versions, I was reinstalling, so I hit yes. Now that I've reinstalled it, all my save files are missing! I'm really devastated, I had a whole bunch of games on the go, unfinished or nearly finished, some with at least 30 hours in, like monster rancher.

Help, is there any way of getting these back, or fixing the deleting all the files when re installing the plug in problem?

when i open a game after im done i close it normal but now when i start a different game its saying failed loading due to there being another game started and when i try to clear browsing history and cookies and restart firefox its still saying the same thing. what could that cause this to happen? i pritey much have to restart my computer to enable the ability to load another game.

also i lost all my saved games i had a week ago. and i tried saveing a game jsut last night and now its gone again.

any one can help that would be jake.

In pokemon red, there seems to be a problem with the Javaboy emulator. I don't know if it's the game or the emulator that's messing, or my java :s xD.
EDIT: after trying another game, it's definately either the emulator or my java. I don't recall any trouble with java so far, and I've been using the javaboy emulator for several games, so if anybody could back up my findings...

I'm having an issue with the Genesis emulator. It starts up and loads fine, but none of the keys respond. I tried hitting "redefine keys" in the menu and the emulator froze. I repeated this several times with the same result. How can I fix this?

However, with the new plugin, it gives more specific info on what exactly the error is. On the bottom of the window I see the error message "Save State Download Failed". Don't ask me because I still don't know the exact problem and why people are saying "it works fine".

The New Tetris for the Nintendo 64 won't load. it starts then goes to a black screen and says there is a error with the second controller. I opened the control manager and chose for the second, third, and fourth controllers to be unplugged and I resetted then the same thing happened. I hope this only happens for this game.

yeah the same games who normally give me trouble.. ((Castelvania Orchestra of despair If I remember right, and pokemon snap) still cause problems.

I also tried to play Conker but it never loaded.. it worked once only really slowly.. it hasn't loaded again since..

FFTA used to work, i have a file with about 40 hours on it, but it stopped working after the migration. Encountering the same error on another game, I thought I'd report it again.

Maybe see if you can reproduce the problem and report more details about your setup and what you did.
