I am pretty sure I am the only vizzed member who HAS heard of pingu, well basicly the first member to hear about pingu. (Sorry for thread title not being correct. )

Pingu was a old awesome TV show that aired for 20 years, from 1986 to 2006 where it sadly stopped. Pingu was a show that was clay animated with characters.

I don't know the correct names for the mother and father, so you may want to look on wikipedia.

Like I said, pingu was a clay animated series that was about pingu, and various things.

Let me go into detail with the character, pingu. Pingu had weird but funny abilities. For example, sometimes, pingu goes "NUG NUG!!!" and his mouth goes like 20cm forward, so it is really strange. He has other abilities, like being able to roll into a ball (If you played Sonic The Hedgehog, you will remember this) and even strech to be a little taller.

Pinga, is a baby that was born a couple of episodes after pingu started, and which pinga was named "pinga" for unknown reasons. Pluralizing pinga refers to the classic "Pingas" meme. Back to pinga. Pinga needed to be fed by pingu (refer to the "Pingu the babysitter" episode for what I said.) in some episodes, don't ask why, but normally the mother would feed the baby, but it doesn't seem right. The main character feeds the baby? Awkward...

But sadly, pingu was becoming a little more gross over the years, by starting to show pingu peeing in the toilet, but completly misses and has the bathroom door open. Then it was getting more stranger, by then having pingu getting spanked by his mother, to him crying.

WAY TOO CRAZY.

Although the Pingu show was having issues, it was a funny kids show.

The intros to pingu seemed pretty good, with pingu walking to the middle of the screen, turning his head to the camera, and blinks twice. In the newer intro, while his head is pointing towards the camera, he laughs while he blinks. In the newest intro, 5 seconds of pingu being weird, by spinning, slapping his butt, (he doesn't really have one. ) and then posing for the pingu logo.

The music for the intros, the very first one didn't sound like it was pingu, but then the pingu dance song was made, then it came pretty fit with the pingu intro.

So yeah, I do love pingu. He is funny, and I love it when he does the "NUG NUG!!!" catchphrase. In sessions 1 and 2, it sounded like "NOOT NOOT!!!" and more angrier. In season 3 to the last season, he sounded like "NUG NUG!" which is pretty classic for a catchphrase, but also funny.

The show so great. Which website I could watch or channel.

Pingu, eh? Maybe if I get bored sometime I'll look into it, but it doesn't sound like my kind of show really. But the name is sort of catchy. Pingu.

Mobouis1 : You could look up the episodes list on wikipedia, wait, there is no episode list. You can google "Pingu wintendows" because wintendows has many episodes of pingu on YouTube. Also, there are YTP's of pingu. Also, wasn't there a petition on a website according to YouTube to bring back the pingu TV show? Pingu doesn't run on ANY channel on Cox Cable.

There are many episodes, be sure to look at these examples of episodes that I know. The best Pingu's Bouncy Fun episode is by searching just "Pingu" on YouTube, then click on the video by bassacaptillion. (I can't spell it right. )

I love the pingu intros. I like the second one with the song, "Pingu Dance" in the intro. In a YTP called "Pingu hates his mom and dad", the pingu intro at the end, it loops causing a laugh with a random sputter like sound. (I might not make any sense at all with this.)

Also, one user uploaded 5 NOOT NOOT video compliations, NOOT NOOT #2 has all NOOT NOOT's from Pingu Goes Fishing. The other ones seem funny, the second one is the funniest to me.

I remember Pingu, hell, the odd episode comes up on ABC every know again. So yeah, I still watch it on TV.

I've seen Pingu on TV as a short a bunch of times, I really enjoy it. I haven't seen it in a long time, but you're certainly not alone. I was more of a fan of DOMO though, he was also on my TV channel as a short.

I remember watching Pingu a lot when I was young. It was on TV multiple times per day since the episodes are so short. I remember it being in between morning cartoons a lot of the time It's a great show and the claymation aspect makes it interesting to watch.

Oh Pingu the penguin! It was such an excelent show... I would recomend it especially to everyone with kids. Its nonviolent and it has very charming universal humour. If there is episodes on youtube, I am happy to hear. Maybe some saturday morning I will watch some. I had almost forgotten already.
