My favorite is always been the 1st one and 2nd one.I haven't much of the new ones only up to the orange league and some of the others but I always like the first 2 that came out.the only thing I didn't like even duh they were great moments when he kept releasing his pokemons wanted to see more of them but he let them go.

That's easy it has to be the Indigo League Gen 1 was the best, Gen 2 is a very close second though, I also like the Orange Islands but to be completely honest Tracey kind of gets on my nerves a little. XD

Me personally I seen A LOT of Pokémon growing up threw the years and I can't really say there is a best one because they all have there own story behind them with new adventuring fellows but I will say the new B/W season is really good they upped the show from what it used to be and I'm liking what they have done so far but that's just my opinion I'm sure some will agree and some will disagree but we are all entitled to our own thoughts
