I as you, love both systems but if I had to choose I would pick the original Gameboy. The library of games was just to vast to not pick it. Great system with a ton of great games to play at a reasonable price. Can't beat that.

They are both good but the one I like the most would be Game boy Advance because you can play both GBC & GBA Games on it. I always had both of them and loved using the GBA more then the GBC

Just because a system can display better graphics does not mean its awesome, sadly some people tend to think that but even so I like the Game Boy Advance, because when the Game Boy Color was made, developers tried to make advanced console games on the Game Boy Color, they were severely scaled down and did not play as well as they should have. Capcom tried making a direct port of the original Resident Evil on the Game Boy Color which got cancelled because of it's poor quality. Also I had a Game Boy advance as a little kid, which might seem odd considering the fact I had a Genesis at that same time.

Gameboy color, because I prefer  a lot of color games over advanced. Pokemon, for example (and probably the best example), started to get worse with generation 3, the first  pokemon gba games. I still like generation 3, but they just started to get too complecated, and started changing the design styles too much, especially with new pokemon.

I know this sounds strange but I think the Gameboy Colour is better because it has better Games like Super Mario Bros Deluxe and Pokemon Gold/Silver/Crystal. I also enjoy the Gameboy Advance but I didn't like the button layout.

I Agree, The GBC Had a lot of good games, I Mean you cant go wrong with the first gen of Pokemon and The legend of Zelda, Oracle of seasons and ages were so fun to play.
