Well, I'd like to consider myself diverse in my music tastes/
Examples of what I listen to: Justin Bieber, Avenged Sevenfold, Deadmau5, Yellowcard, Yiruma, Anamanaguchi, Baby Bash, Jay Z, Ne Yo, and Backstreet Boys.

As you can see I listen to almost anything, and I'm not afraid to admit that I'm almost 17, a guy. and I listen to Justin Bieber.
So if you're unsure about the genre's, I'll listen to Techno, Dubstep, Pop, Hip Hop, Rap, Rock, Metal, Punk Pop Rock and many other genre's.

Nice thread mehsk1ll. I like a lot of different music. Only new country and some other stuff i don't like. I like rock, pop, 70's old country and others like some opra stuff. But mostly rock and metal, i also like some rap!

It depends on what you mean. If you mean diverse as in like it enough to listen to it then I like alot of types of music, cuz in all honesty I'd listen to anything if I was bored enough. If you mean diverse as in listen to it on a daily basis then I'm nowhere near diverse. My favorite categories include r&b, hip pop, and pop (yes there is a difference in hip pop and pop). I also enjoy the classic 80's & 90's raps from artists such as Salt & Pepa (not sure if that's it but im gonna go with it) and Biggie. But that doesn't mean I don't enjoy modern rap songs from artists such as Jay-Z, Kanye West, Eminem, and Lil Wayne. I'm not sure how diverse that is but in my opinion, with the many different types of music out there, I am nowhere near diverse. What about you user below?

It's so refreshing to see a lack of Beiber hate.

The genre I listen to depends on my mood. I listen to all kinds of rock, ska, or pop. I also love it when people make a different version of the same song. Like an orchestra version of Poker Face for example (it exists). I also like remixes or when people mix two songs together.

That's part of why I love collecting music so much, because there are so many great artists putting out their own unique sounds... If we're talking country of origin, most of my music is from North America/Great Britain. I do have some stuff from Africa, Latin America, Caribbean, and Japan. After 1990 something seems to happen to music that I just don't like and listening to almost anything that came out after makes my ears fell like bleeding.
