Ok so... You've all probably been wondering where I've been lately. I haven't been around to post or do mod work or any of that stuff. For that, I apologize to the mods and globals who have had to pick up my work when I wasn't around. I kinda wish I had excuses, like family troubles or internet problems, but I don't think there's really any of that.

It's happened with staff and members before me. I think I've just lost interest in the site. I don't hate any of you, certainly. But I'm probably not active enough to remain as a global. So yeah, if you couldn't tell by the title already, I'm stepping down from my mod duties.

It has been really fun serving you all, though. I remember when leggy first told me I was global... /insert reminiscing scene/

Anyways, I'm not leaving Vizzed completely. Please don't think of it like that. But I probably won't be as active as I've been. Stepping down from staff is actually a good opportunity for me, since I won't have to feel guilty about being inactive. I'll check back once, maybe twice a week, and hang out in chat a bit. I just won't have my global powers on me.

So yeah, this decision is pretty much final. Thanks guys for all your support of me while I was a mod. Good luck to the staff that carries on after me.

And maybe if I get a sudden inspiration to be active here, I'll come back to staff. Highly unlikely, though.

Yeah, it's gonna be weird, seeing you in bright pink instead of red, just like it was with noelia. I guess we should've seen this coming though.

It seems you took a similar view to mine. It's better to acknowledge that you're not doing much work and your interest is diminishing than to wait until you're asked to step down based on lack of activity.

You may miss the power for a while, but it's oddly liberating to just be free to browse the site without responsibilities. I'm far too protective of the Help Forum to give it up right now. I'm kind of in recharge mode right now. Maybe if I can get interest up I might try to be Local again.

If you can avoid giving up the site altogether then maybe you'll gain back some of your old interest in the site as time goes on. Even if you don't want to be staff again, you can still stick around. Having the freedom of not being staff is just relaxing. You can try going back to just posting for fun rather than trying to meet some random quota.

BNuge : I agree with you wholeheartedly. Vizzed is a great place and all, but I just don't have the interest I did a few months ago. It's definitely not my friends' fault, you're all great, but a lot of little things, as well as the community in general.

Anyways, without getting into specifics there, you're right that it is quite relaxing to be free of responibilities here. I feel I can enjoy my time here more. Being global was fun and a great experience, but now, I won't feel guilty if I don't post every day (which I haven't been doing lately x3)

I understand wanting/needing to go though. When you're super excited/interested in Vizzed it's so easy to post 20+ times a day and do tons of things around the site to help out.

When that interest goes away then being staff becomes tedious.
