The CD-I was a failure. Not just a failure:an epic failure. It had horrible animation,horrible voice actors/normal actors,and horrible games. It was so bad that people act like it never existed. It is responsible for Link:Faces of Evil Zelda:wand of gamelon and Zelda's Adventure. It is a disgrace to gaming

Also, the 3DO was another disgrace to gaming. It has had its good games. But, some of its games are just terrible. Remember back in the day of the Super Nintendo? Remember playing Doom and thinking "This is amazing! The graphics are great and the sound fits in!" But, they ported Doom to the 3DO. This makes Doom look like child's play. The sound: Sounds like its 3 bit. No, i don't mean 8-bit, i mean 3-bit. The screen. It's freaking windowed. It's just...terrible.

I'm glad you had fun with it. The zelda games had no health breaker (that means you become invincible for about 1 second after getting damaged),horrible animations,horrible voices,cheap deaths, hard jumps,awkward controls,generic enemies that do 2 hearts of damage,etc. That only covers about 1/2 of it...glad you enjoyed it though

I mean, it's been like probably 15 years since I last played one and I was really young (probably 8) so I really don't remember if I enjoyed it or not but I know there was 1 game which I did enjoy, just don't remember what game it was but I was thinking it was Zelda but it might not have been.

But I do agree that out of all the game systems, it is probably the worst.

lol this makes the Virtual Boy seem like the best game system ever. I think they should re-make the virtual boy. But CD-I needs to be forgotten.Forever forgotten in the history of gaming and multimedia.

my opinion, xbox is the worst system. i dont like the controls, the majority of games are substandard (comparativly), it brakes too easy (RROD anyone?), etc etc.

Yes that is the CD-I. Search on Google for "CD-I Emulator download" then search on Google "Link: The Faces Of evil download" and play that for a little bit and you will understand. And most of its games are that bad. G-Y-R should never have CD-I emulator/rom downloads because it will just give them a bad name.

Well when you call a system crappy, you can't compare it to our standards now days, you gotta compare it to the standards of when it came out. I'm sure 30 years from now someone may look at the PS3 and call it crappy compared to the standards in 2039.

The actual games suck. I'm not hating on the graphics. The technology was amazing! It was ahead of the game. But they just couldn't make a good game. Stupid sega didn't want RPGs despite the success of some RPG's such as Chrono Trigger and FF VII. That is probably a good reason for the downfall of Sega's systems. They had great tech, just like the CD-I, but they didn't have enough good games.
