Hi, I'm stermer and this is my introduction (I hope). I miss the old games from the 80s, especially Rescue Raiders which I can't wait to get good at again.

I've stopped watching the news and reading it, because it's too depressing. Is there anything good out there, or is society just continuing to fall apart?

It all depends on what you consider as good news.  For example, I would find good news such as the Saint Louis Cardinals going on a ten game winning streak, or the Miami Heat (Le)choking in the finals.  If you want some current events, you could look at how someone created a new waterless soap that could help millions (probably billions even) clean themselves more often than not.  There really is good news that is always out there, the problem is you really just have to find it .

Yea i think the news can be pretty depressing, it just shows how life can be sometimes. I think their is some good news once in a while though, but mostly it's bad.
