i have become most strong in my faith with God even no others have hated me and left me for it nevertheless the lord has still whispered in my ear about secrets no man should no for if man knew these secrets the mysteries of God will be revealed he is not yet ready for us to no but one thing has been bothering God lately Why must you Men/women of faith judge other men for there faith? they may not believe in God but the best we may do is be there friends and hold them when the times get ruff because when u judge them for there faith does that make u any better then them? also something has been bothering me lately why must we use bibles in sermens? if im not mistaken the bible is like a sword the lord said would u slay ur own ppl with ur sword? now im not saying dont not read the bible but do it in the privacy of ur own home and when casting out demons I am not here to offend or hurt anyone but to deffend what is right help those who need u no matter the relgion or what there attracted to

It's a tad bit hard to read your post due to some spelling/grammar errors and I am slightly confused to what you are trying to convey, so let me know if I am wrong in what I think you are trying to say.
So here are the few points that I think you are asking about: "Why must you Men/women of faith judge other men for there faith?" "why must we use bibles in sermens?" I also find it interesting when you make this statement: "I am not here to offend or hurt anyone but to deffend what is right help those who need u no matter the relgion or what there attracted to" If you see right there, when you say that you are here "to defend what is right", that is a judgment. The statement shows that you know that there is a standard in knowing what is right and that one can tell, discuss, and reason what is right and what is wrong. The Bible doesn't say not to judge, but not to judge hypocritically. The standard that you throw out and the standard that you believe in the Bible must also apply to yourself as well. As for your second question, the Bible is God's Word, so that is what sermons should be focused on, to be studied on. When preachers preach to their congregation, they are suppose to expose what God's Word is telling them. You are kinda right about the Bible as a sword: "For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart." (Hebrews 4:12) But that is why it is needed to use/study the Bible for teaching and proclamations. God's Word is so powerful that it can penetrate the conscience, shows you what God's will is, renews your soul. Finally, the purpose of a sermon is not of one's own opinion, but to share about what God reveals through the study of the Bible. yes well judgement and hypocrite wouldn't be the same in my eyes because being judged is speaking the truth and being hypocrite means you speak only lies about another man or woman. The grammar is wrong and the spelling is wrong here because i wrote it quickly. You did not understand correctly because my mind works differently then anyone you will ever meet same as for you we believe differently I do not believe I should use a bible for sermons but only for demons. You make a valid point and i respect you for it but the bible has many people who see it differently. I speak boldly because thats the person I am perhaps i speak to bold? |

JesusFreak1256 : It's totally fine to speak boldly. It's not that you are speaking in a disrespectful tone, so it's absolutely fine.
However, we have a problem here. Because the Bible itself even affirms its usefulness, not just on demons. "All scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work." (2 Timothy 3:16-17) If you look at the list, much of it is pretty public usage (teaching, training, etc). The apostles set the example as well by using scripture for teaching and correcting. You see different passages that they use the phrase "For scripture says" all over the place. The phrase "preach the Word" is also emphasized from the apostles. In another verse in 1 Timothy, Paul commanded Timothy to "public reading of scripture, to preaching and to teaching." It is not meant to be only for your private reading. So here is the issue, if you are to say that the Bible is ONLY for demons, your statement actually goes against the Bible itself. I understand the concern about different people having different readings of scripture. However, that is why it is important to continually study scripture, because it is very possible to interpret scripture wrongly. It is of no excuse to not use scripture for all walks of life, but it is also our responsibility to understand scripture. The Bereans set that example, for they don't just read scripture, they study it. "...they received the word with all eagerness, examining the scriptures daily to see if these things were so. " (Acts 17:11) However, we have a problem here. Because the Bible itself even affirms its usefulness, not just on demons.
