Would anyone be interested in Vizzed getting a Minecraft server where users of vizzed could play together in the world of Minecraft? The game plays in Java so the game would play right on the website like any of the Java emulated games on vizzed. Be sure to vote in the Poll.

I'm thinking the overall goal of the Vizzed hosted Minecraft would be to create "Vizzed Ville", basically a town which would represent vizzed. So we'd all work together putting together the town of 'Vizzed Ville' by paving the roads, putting up buildings, landscaping, building houses, etc.

We'd use Minecraft Classic which is free, so no one would have to pay for anything (except me of course since I'd have to pay for the server).

For those who don't know what Minecraft is, you can read about it here:

I think this would be a pretty cool idea.

I myself don't play a ton of minecraft, I mostly dabble in developmental mode...

But still, this looks like the perfect opportunity to get into it.

So yeah, if Vizzed gets a minecraft server, and you appoint the mods there (to prevent griefing) then I'd definitely be interested.

I wouldn't play, because I don't have a computer to play it on now, (My computer died in the early of April) I don't ever play it, and I wouldn't even like it, I also would be able to throw rages, because you have to download the game.

I have a number of other games that I want to buy first, and my laptop just crapped out on me so that's several hundred dollars that I'm gonna have to drop on that. So I really don't have the money to buy a minecraft account. But if I did, I'd be interested in buying the game just for this server. I think it's actually a really good idea.

So is this something I would need to purchase to play it? If so, is there a monthly charge? Those would be big determining factors. I don't have time currently to read the wiki page to find out more about what this is. Right now, I understand that you build things with cubes. Vizzed.com is very expensive to keep alive! The Ads pay for the servers.

Vizzed has 3 TB worth of games and 1 TB worth of music.  This site is free to use but the ads barely pay for the monthly server fees.  If too many more people use ad block, the site cannot survive.

We prioritize the community over the site profits.  This is why we avoid using annoying (but high paying) ads like most other sites which include popups, obnoxious sounds and animations, malware, and other forms of intrusiveness.  We'll do our part to never resort to these types of ads, please do your part by helping support this site by adding Vizzed.com to your ad blocking whitelist.
