I heard on the news last week that a rich Australian person decided to build the Titanic 2. It will be unsinkable. The ship is gonna be maid in China. The building starts next year and the maiden voyage for the ship is in 2016. That's also when the ship is done being built.

Isn't that what they said about first one I'll be damned if they hit the same iceberg as the first titanic. Making the ship in China probably isn't a very good idea either considering China has a reputation for cheap labor and cheaply made products.

If I made the titanic every room would be a submarine then if it were to ever come in contact with an iceberg every room would seal up and the ship would shatter into hundreds of mini subs. Those who are on the dock wont get a sub though they will be stuck using the remainder of the ship as a life boat.

I think the rich Australian is Clive Palmer, I actually believe he is eccentric enough to build titanic 2, however he also wants to become a federal politician, oddly enough he wants to be in the conservatives (Liberal Party), the way the current government (Labor Party) is going, they will sink quicker than the original titanic let alone T2.

Since many years have passed and building a new one calling it " Titanic 2 "
may or may not be a good idea. Same for the New " World Trade Center "
being built in Manhattan , New York . Both were destroyed and many people
were killed . It would be nice to see them both recreated again at their own
times.I wonder how long Titanic 2 would last before it sinks again . I highly
doubt nothing would happen to it and that's really sad to say .

Most ships do not sink, and the RMS Titanic tragedy was one that just could not happen again today because of the regulation changes that were made in it's wake. Shipping lanes are much further south, there are ice patrols, vastly increased life boat requirements, and ship design specifications (must have a double hull, not just a double bottom).
