It really screwed with my head when I looked and there's no thread sub forum about MMA. I think it needs to be fixed. No rugby, cross country, boxing, and many other sports. But MMA is my favorite sport in the world so I had to make this thread. My very first thread so I hope you guys will help me feel welcomed with my first thread ever...



BTW-    GSP and Anderson Silva are the best!!!!!

Hi howhigh77. I agree GSP and Anderson Silva are two of the greatest athelets in the sport! Their are a couple of threads about MMA in the sports forum, so to have it's own forum might be a little much but hey what do i know. It would be great if you made a thread worthy of being a sticky thread. this one is good because the title suggest that you can talk about more then just one specific fighter. Maybe you can summon the mods to make this a sticky!

I could make a sub forum for it and I will after this post; problem is though it won't show up as a sub forum unless a certain number of threads (3 I think) are linked to the sub forum.

I think there are are some other threads pertaining to MMA and/or UFC - I'll look.

As for me, I do compete in MMA - my skills are Kung Fu San Soo, Ninjutsu, and Jiu Jitsu; also started Hapkideo training not too long ago.

Technically I don't do MMA seeing as I work on boxing mainly but I can do kicks but still I guess I don't count as MMA but I would love to fight you one day regardless of that fact win or lose a good fights a good fight... MMA is great although I admittedly don't follow it as much as other sports like Football, Hockey, Basketball etc. Not really sure why that is.

I do follow the big fights and watch them occasionally at bars or other peoples houses. I just don't really feel like paying so much to constantly watch them on PPV though. However, I DO watch them always whenever there is a "Free" fight on TV.

For Fighting Many People at one time?
I suggest a person get experience.

Mixed Martial Arts is a great foundation to build a very capable fighter.
The Problem is when M.M.A. got popular all the fighters got their Sparring Partners Spoon-Fed The moment it got "Major Funding."

I'm not saying those guys are "pushovers."
(Lord Knows I'm Too... "Civilian" to take on the U.F.C....Alone...Now.)

But Arena Fighters are good at making money. ... And that's about it.
Real Fighters come in all shapes and sizes and in ANY ARENA.

I dig this thread so I'm not going to "knock it"... yet.
This Can Be A Healthy Discussion.
