There's probably a rule I'm breaking making a rant thread, but WAY too many people think the show's name includes a capital letter O simply because of the pronunciation of the title. That is not the case. It is the number 0 (zero), not a capital O.

When you see something has been upgraded to Version 2.0, you don't pronounce that as "Two Point Zero" do you? Most people actually don't. Most people pronounce 2.0 as "Two Point Oh." And even though it is pronounced that way, everyone still knows that no matter how it sounds when spoken, the actual character is the number 0 (zero), not the letter O.

The title of Tosh.0 exactly reflects this principle. I've seen about 7 different people type Tosh.O (which uses the capital O instead of the proper Tosh.0) and I've talked to 3 people that explained to me verbally that "it's pronounced Tosh Point Oh so it must be the letter O." And believe me, I ended up punching a wall that day.

This thread is to inform the less-informed (who actually watch this show like me) about the proper title of Daniel Tosh's (Basic cable) Webisode show.

Ignorance is only bliss to the ignorant. To all else, ignorance is stupidity. Please, save yourself from this characteristic.

Yes. It IS a zero in the name. But it's called Tosh POINT OH.

OH is a common slang for zero, because it rolls off the tongue easier.

Yeah a lot of people (dumb) get that mixed up, it bugs me too dude, next time someone says that I'm gonna say "Meer, read this bud.

Yeah I have to admit, I do get mixed up with the O part, I usually say Zero instead which irritates me.

I don't get how they mix that up one look at the title it's pretty clear its a 0 not an O at the end of it.

i know how do people get that mixed up. isn't it weird.
