I heard about this on Manswers, that show is crazy. I hate the announcers voice though, it is always so excitable sounding as if he were in the state of mind that he  was ten years old instead of an adult. Anyway, sorry got a little off topic, I have heard about this if I remember correctly it has something to do with some sort of stimuli in the brain? I don't remember too well.

I just now noticed this thread... rather interesting, actually. As long as I'm sitting still, I can focus alright but I can't really react quickly. I never noticed an increase in problem-solving though... I suppose because it was something that I just wasn't thinking about.

Well the key is that you drink in moderation (I believe they said that 2 beers minimum is considered moderation). As for the study I would like to believe that its true (would justify another reason for me to start drinking...in moderation lol). I also believe that was most shocking that if you drink in moderation that your memory improves, which to me is shocking because most of the time when you drink you can't remember what you did last night...lol.

That's a very interesting finding. And they did a study so you can see the difference between people who are sober and the one's who aren't. That is a very cool thing to learn about. I still wouldn't drink because it would clash with my medications and having my seizure disorder, well it just wouldn't be such a good idea. But that's really cool to find out about that. Never thought alcohol would have a positive side to it.
