For a while now I believed I was straight. but lately I have been having these fetishes that have deeply disturbed me. But then while I was on dragonadopters.com I met this guy who had the same fettishes as I did. Then I realized that because of these fetishes I was into more gay furries (real sex scares me) and this led me to believe that I was gay. Life as I know has been shattered and I don't know where to go or do. My parents don't know because while they would be supportive they would try to talk me out of it or say a bunch of things that I know to be false. If anyone out there is gay or knows what I can do then please PM me. The guy that I was talking to is really supportive and helpful but I can never get over the fact that the world as I know is gone. I met alot of cool people that are not abusive but it is still a bit nerver wracking.

Well, this isn't necessarily a "problem" its just your sexual preference and in the year 2012, you won't be looked down upon, criticized, or judged in society, as it did 30-40 years ago. I am also homosexual (openly) and I have "experience" assisting troubled homosexuals coping, accepting and embracing their sexuality.

Do you mind explaining what it is exactly that makes you uncomfortable as to where you feel your life is "shattered?" Is it the thought of being gay, actually being gay, the way society will perceive you, or something else?

Believe it or not, I'm gay too. There are a few other members on this site who are, but me and Ken are the only gay members on staff.

I sort of have the same questions as Ken. Anyone who cares about you will tell you that it's completely normal. What are your specific issues with it? If you let us know either through this thread or PM, we can try to help.

I actually had a chat with a gay furry for a while. We ended up not getting along in general, but I still learned a lot from him. It's different, but still not bad.

I would disagree with that. The internet is a lot more anonymous. The odds of someone he knows in real life finding this is fairly slim, so it feels safer for him to talk (and rightly so). Just my opinion.

Well congratulations to you. I personally am bisexual. (which i don't really tell people to be honest).

As for your situation, Just try to calm down, When i told my friends/family that i also liked men, they obviously were a bit shocked at first, but the majority of people don't really mind same sex relationships as much as they did in the 50's. You will get stick from people very rarely but that's because they don't have the power to accept change. Anything abnormal is offensive to them for some strange reason.

Your world isn't gone either just because your sexuality has changed does not mean that your life has to as well, Just do whatever you did before and enjoy life.

Wow, I find it kind of surprising that there are several bi's on this website, not that I have anything against them.....
