If you could trade places and live the life of any celebrity who would it be and why?

I don't think I would really want to trade places with any celebrity. I mean sure they are rich and famous, but that doesn't make up for the problem that everyone is trying to nose into your life at any given moment. I would never have a free moment to myself.

Like the previous poster, I don't want to switch places with ANY celebrity as it is constant unwanted attention over superficial things...you get nailed badly for disregarding the "high class norms" like all those really stupid red carpet gatherings...whats the point? The fact that you are also held to exceptionally high standards yet simultaneously expected to do the lowest of things is also asinine...besides, a large number of these celebrities don't even deserve the recognition of the international community...its a pointless waste of time really.

i guess you can argue I'm like the famous silent film actor Lon Chaney Sr. in that I despise the limelight and prefers a quiet existence while still doing what I loves.

I would not want to trade places with a celebrity for a few simple reasons:
One main one that everyone knows is the fact that celebrities have no privacy whatsoever. I could not live with that. I need my own privacy at times to think and be myself without having to worry constantly with whatever I am doing being politically right or one small mistake being the end of my career. Another reason is that I do not have any clue on the intense responsibilities of a celebrity whatsoever. All I know is how to be me, so I be me. I do not want to try to become someone who I am not. I would hate to be blackmailed, cheated, and whatever the heck celebrities have to deal with nowadays. Sure it may be cool for a day or two, but in the end I would rather be where I am now, than be any of them. It is not the reward that counts, but the passage getting there. If I am not the one to experience the hard work it takes to get high up there, then I will not enjoy it that much. This sort of compares to the Count of Monte Cristo's idea with Albert, dragging him to the lowest of the low so that he can actually have true love and enjoyment when he gets everything back.

I agree with September, it must be aggravating being a popular celebrity...they're always being followed by paparazzi wanting pictures and obsessive fans wanting autographs! It seems like they NEVER have time for themselves which is VERY important to me, so I wouldn't want to trade places with a celebrity either. I'm content being a non famous, productive member of society, thank you very much!

Fame is rather vain, and I'd rather NOT ruin my life by choosing to be pestered with tons of annoying paps

I guess if I had to choose... I'd choose like ... I don't know. It feels weird thinking about it.

Can't say I'd trade place with any celebrity. Maybe for a few minutes, but not permanently. I'd trade places with Jessica Lange long enough to get to kiss Liam Neeson, but that would be about it.

Definitely not. I WOULD want to see what it would be like to be an extremely good dancer like Chris Brown.

If I had to, I would probably switch places with an actor. I would change places with Will Smith. He's one of my favorite actors and he starred in the Men in Black movies

If I really had to, I would switch places with Morgan Freeman.  He has a really cool voice, is a good actor, and seems very intelligent compared to other celebrities.

I like my life just at it is... Fame is something good but annoying, I mean... A lot of strangers and paps following you? No time for relax?

Well I wouldn't want to trade places with any celeberty .. or anybody for that matter. Fame is just a statement.. fans annoying you .. maybe no relax time but .. I don't ever get to relax anyways lol. The main reasons I wouldn't want to trade places with anybody even a random person on the street is because I'm happy with my life .. I'm happy with my true self and I'm just happy in general.. I may have points in life of depression or negativity but nobody is perfect. I do think oh it would be cool to have there place in fame but not as them.. I would want to be famous as me 'laura' bintsy.. not a completely different person.

I wouldn't trade places with a Celeb, most of them live stressful lives.
I wouldn't want to be pestered by fans or do constant movies or TV or so on.
My life is my life.

However If I HAD to choose I would say.....
Justin Beiber.... then I would be able to become the ultimate troll :3

If I had to trade places with a celebrity, I would trade places with Rex Ryan of the New York Jets. What he's doing to his team is destroying it from the inside, treating his quarterbacks and his players like garbage, and I'd like to see that organization do fairly well.

I wouldn't to be honest, yeah my life isn't full of all the cool things some celebs have, but its my life none the less. And if I work hard enough at it, I can give myself the same things they have in time.
