Here are all the warp whistles in the NES classic, Super Mario Bros 3.

#1: In level 1-3 on the white block with the turtle on it (I recommend killing the turtle first) duck down (you must at least be big) for about 5-6 seconds. Then you will fall into the background. Run all the way to the right and there you go! The first whistle!

#2: Go to the first castle of world 1. At the end of the first room (you must be a raccoon to do this) fly onto the ceiling and run to the right. Once you cant move right anymore, press up. You will be transported into a secret room and there you have it! The second whistle!

#3: In world 2 one of the hammer bros you fight gives you a hammer. Once you have this hammer, go to the far right of the world 2 map, and go all the way up. There will be a rock to the right of you. Use your hammer there. You will then be in a secret area in world 2. Battle the hammer bro in the secret area. Beat him and you will get the third whistle!

I actually have had the warp whistles memorized for years. Ever since I originally found them when the game was first released. We played that game forever trying to find all of those things, or hoping that Nintendo power would post about them

yep totally remember looking for those things for hours thanks for reminding me i had forgot the one in world 2 and i agree i don't like using them don't feel like i beat a game if i skip a level
