no, I have never started out with a real Shiny Starter in any Pokemon game. I have tried in Fire Red and Diamond to get a shiny Squirtle or Turtwig, but I never had any luck. You'd have to have extreme luck to find a shiny starter, since there rarer than a real shiny in the wild.

I have never got a shiny starter, but this one time I was playing soulsilver I found a shiny sentret and my game froze. I was super ticked. I wanted to shoot my DS, snap it in half, and throw it on to a Highway. (sentret and furret are my favorite Pokémon)

I haven't ever gotten a shiny starter though. I wouldn't really want one all that much, because I try to get a good EV and IV Pokémon, but still, a shiny starter would be awesome.
