Well this morning I noticed favorite things about spring coming up in my lawn. One thing are the tulips on the hill and next to the tulips are my number one fave thing! The thing is onion grass!!!!!

This is what makes spring worth while. I hate spring because it brings the hated heat and the bugs (mostly mosquitos and bees). But I love spring for the onion grass! I eat dozens of them per day. Sadly the rest of my family hates them, but I just love chewing on onion grass. How you find onion grass is that it's grass that is thicker and taller than regular grass. It almost looks like tulip grass but it's smaller than that. Onion grass tastes just like onions and it's safe to eat like onions. I can't wait for an afternoon when my little sis plays with her friend next door. I'm going to show the friend about onion grass. I know she loves wild fruits and vegitables. She has wild strawberies and black berries at her house we pick and eat when the time is right.

My favourite thing about spring is the fact that all the flowers and animals start to come out. I know this sounds a bit girlie but there's nothing better than seeing new life on the planet. *I'm somehow feeling maternal about the planet*

RequiemHaunt : I've never tried onion grass and I'm not really sure if it grows in England either.  If it does taste like onions then I probably won't like it, but I'm all up for giving it a shot xD.

I will say the thing I dislike about Easter is the fact that I hate chocolate...

Ah spring, a beautiful and magical season in the cycle of nature. In my opinion, I enjoy spring because it's the rebirth of nature. Weakened by the autumn and forced to suffer the cold days of the winter like we do, it's lovely to see nature and its rebirth, like the phoenix from its ashes. I don't know what I dislike about spring, I love its beauty, that's it.

sonicmcmuffin : Well I'm not surprised my dad hates chocolate too. Every guy I've come acrossed dislikes chocolate.

I love it but can't have it. I can have sugar free chocolate but everyone seems to forget it exists so every chocolate holiday I get nothing.

The funny thing about spring is all the animals that are around here. Every day I see dead mice or squirls around my house from our cats. Right now my cats are having a field day with all the new animals coming out of the ground and trees.

Oh, yeah... At the other side of the world... Well, autumn is about to start here... Nothing to say besides the leafs falling and the cloudy and cold days.

Are you talking about chives? I like putting them on food, but I don't know if I'd just eat them plain. They are good though, but they don't grow around my house, I just buy them from the store...

Lazlo Falconi : No this is onion grass it's different from chives. They are more potent than chives. I don't know how to explain it but they are definatly not chives.

Well there isn't much I can say about Spring other than the fact that the weather is fair and not out of place.

I love spring.

It's not winter or summer.

It's not hot or cold.

It's rainy and overcast.

I love spring.

If I wanted it to be rainy and cool, it might as well be autumn, at least then the leaves are changed. But then again, spring means a swift end to school.

Yesterday I took my little sister on a nature walk. Lots of the trees are blooming flowers like crazy. We saw dark red flowers, fluffy orange flowers, and bright yellow flowers on all the trees on our road. The pond this year is growing nice big lily pads. It's really gunky though because it's been so warm this winter. I find it's fun going on nature walks in the spring and fall.

I like the fact that the weather usually starts to warm back up and it's not so cold anymore. Aside from that, the colors of nature in the spring can be kind of nice.

Before I answer your question, I'd like to say AUTUMN for the win!

Anyway, one thing I love most about Spring is not only the scenery of beautiful, colorful trees and flowers in bloom...but the tolerant, nice weather! That meaning, not Summer scorching heat or freezing Winter cold. Spring is the perfect season for outdoor activities like picnics and BBQ's, which I typically do with friends during Spring.

One weird thing about spring is the tempatures... Last week it was in the 80's here this week it doesn't even reach the 50's.... o.O My dad said we might even get snow this weekend! This is just nuts!

My favorite thing about spring would be… maybe my birthday… maybe spring break to relax and take a break from school… or maybe the beautiful flowers that only appear at this time of year. 

Spring came early for us around here as last week and the week before (For 9 days in a row) it was either in the upper 70's or low 80's with a nice gentle breeze...unheard of for the chicago area in Mid March lol. I wish it didn't end. I was really digging it!

There are so many great things about Spring....

March Madness starts, (lets go Kentucky)

Tennis season finally starts. Even though some games get rained out, it's great to be back on the courts

The weather finally starts to warm up...although, living in Tennessee I really shouldn't complain about the cold.

Break is amazing...even though I spent mine being lazy.

Yep, Spring is...awesome.
