What does everyone think of McCain's choice for Sarah Palin?

I personally think this was the most brilliant choice for a VP and in my opinion almost guarantee's that he'll become president now. And as for Sarah Palin, she seems like a really good choice and I agree almost 100% of everything she stands for.

I agree, McCain just slapped Obama in the face with his new pick. I think that shows he can take a risk but at the same time who knows, he might have done it for women votes or maybe the oil in alaska. I'm not sure but despite all the bad things I could say I think McCain is way more fit to lead a country then Obama that's for sure. I can definatly see McCain winning this election easily.

The thing that I find most entertaining is how much focus Palin is getting.

It used to be Obamessiah was getting all the media coverage (good or bad) but now it's almost all focused on Palin and by virtue of that the Republicans get more time to set the issues and the Democrats only get to react.

Makes the Biden choice for VP seem really bad. If he had picked Hillary then Palin would have simply looked reactionary but Biden is going to lose the election for Obama.

I'm sort of Neutral about Palin; I mean, she's a woman which gets the women vote--- and people looking for change, but does she really have the experience to become the president five minutes into office (because McCain has about 5 minutes left of life after he steps into office if he wins)?
