Bad news about my Aunt

I just got the news today and it is not very good. Today Mom told me. That my aunt is going to die. It's very upsetting. She is sicker than she thought. Not only did she had a stroke and a tumor on her brain. The stroke messed up her vocal cords, so it's difficult to speak, but she still can talk. She also haves lung cancer which spread up to her brain. I'm guessing that's what caused the tumor. I could be wrong. The doctors are going to do Chemo in hopes to dissolve it from her lung to keep her living. However, the most upsetting thing about this is that there is no time limit. There is no telling when she may pass on. It's upsetting, disheartening and depressing. However, I am staying strong for her just as everyone else is staying strong for her.

I'm sorry that your family is going through this. I think the time where you feel it is inevitable is harder to deal with than an actual death of a family member. Natas I know exactly what you are going through. My uncle Al went through the same thing. Even though he passed he did show us signs that he still is around. I know when I pass one day I will see all my loved ones again. You will too if you believe in it. Stay strong my friend. This is just part of life. You might feel heart ache for your aunt but everything will be ok in the end. I pray that you and your family can get through this time of heart ache and grieving.

Reminds me of when my grandmother from my dad's side of the family had a stoke. She lost her ability to speak and was slowly fading. I knew I wouldn't be able to go to the hospital to see her, it would have been too much for me to take in. We're here for you like always, Natas.

That is terrible news. I'm sorry to hear your Aunt and your family has to face this struggle.

I know what it is like to see family members battle with cancer, and I've had family members both lose and win against the disease. Dealing with the uncertainty is so heart wrenching. All I can really say is I hope your Auntie is able to recover from this.
