(PLEASE CHOOSE ONE, THIS IS A POLL)

Everyone does not like going to school and we seem to use the cheating ability to get through it, some do not use it.  I want to know if you have cheated a lot or not as much such as copying someone's homework, or asking for an answer on a test, etc.  As for me, I will admit that I have been cheating some of the time, but I would never do it all the time.  What is your answer?

I do it sometimes...

I mean, when I fault to the school I request for the last day's homework... I hate maths... So, instead of copying the problems and making them for myself I copy the answers too.

But I NEVER cheat in a test!

I can't think of any times I've cheated in school, so I'm picking never. Dishonesty is my biggest peeve, and I consider cheating an abstraction of that; ergo, I hate cheating. A lot.

Ever since I've been in college I haven't cheated once. It's also the only time a professor/teacher has ever accused me of cheating, which is annoying, but that was ultimately a mistake on their part.

As for the claim that cheaters never prosper, that's just not true. Often times it eventually comes back to bite them, but cheaters can prosper immensely as a result of their cheating. That is, those who actually put some effort into cheating. Those who cheat because they're not smart enough to pass the class on their own are often not intelligent or creative enough to get away with cheating in the first place.

I also don't understand the argument that cheating on certain assignments is understandable, but cheating on a test isn't good. It's really simply a difference in degree, because a test is worth a greater percentage of your final grade.

I cheat only when I'm pretty desperate. Normally I just hope for the best, but when I'm in dire need of help.

I cheated one year when I fell ill with the flue. When I came back my teachers only gave me one week to read 3 books, 10 chapters in math, and 5 chapters in history and 2 reports for Gym class.... So with the books I had to use cliff notes or I would of not made the deadline. I felt like the world was against me that one year. I had super hatred for school that year.

RequiemHaunt : Huh, I've never heard anyone claim that using Sparknotes or Cliff Notes was cheating.I think that as long as you don't plagiarise then it really isn't cheating. It's more of a different kind of way of finding out what was in the book. And I suppose I feel this way, because it's going to show whether or not you read the book when you write a report on it. If the teacher either misses that, or perhaps grades you on your ability to articulate your thoughts rather than on whether or not you had a sufficient amount of information from the book, then that's not your fault.

I will admit that I have before. I'm not proud of it, and I felt guilty afterward. But there was only one time when it was over something significant. I forced myself to make up for it later by missing a few assignments until the points evened out..... lame.

I'm usually the good guy in most situations but I must admit; I cheat all the time at school! I know I won't cheat once I'm in the university but I have no time to do my projects. I usually find someone I know would get the work done, ask for his or her papers, read it and create a similar version but change some thoughts for my own.

If Finland has taught me anything it's that we don't need standardized testing anyway, so who cares if I sit behind the smallest girl in my class and look over her shoulder to figure out things I forgot?

Though to be fair I always help out the people who helped me, who knows when I'll need help with something else! Also I take the time to learn what it was that I cheat on, I find it easier to remember things when I no longer need the information.

In the end, no matter what excuse I use, cheating is wrong by any moral standards including mine.

Okay I cheated once. ONCE! But most of the time I know not to cheat, because guess what? I'm probably going to get it right on my own, because (I'm not going to be humble here) I am one of the smartest people in my class.

I have only ever cheated once at my School. The only time that I can remember cheating at my School was in one of my Spelling Tests. In my Spelling Tests at School, We try and spell in our Books. We Write our Spellings at the front of our Books and We try to spell them at the back of our Books. When I tried to spell a word in one of my Spelling Tests, I quickly flip my Book to the front and back to spell the word without beening noticed by my Teachers. I tried doing that again but one of my Teachers noticed me and said "Jay (Jay is my real name). Are you cheating at your Spellings" I said no (Just so I can get away with it). I tried doing that same Method again but this time, the same Teacher saw me and deciced to send me out of the Classroom. That was the only time I cheated and I won't do it again.
