I like when people watch me play when they are my friends or if I am playing a rhythm game like Stepmania cause people often have their jaws open while they watch (someones up themselves).  But it's kinda weird when someone I don't know is just watching me play a game (though it rarely ever happens).

I don't like it. It annoys me, because my siblings are always telling me what to do and asking me questions about the game, even if they have no idea what I am playing. It is even more annoying when I am on a hard level.

I get a few random spectators on osu! every once and a while, which I don't mind.

I hate being watched when I play game I get nervous and I do bad at the game. I've done Let's Plays and a little bit of stream, so I suppose I kind of do like being watched. Unless the spectator is someone who wants to be a know-it-all or a jerk while I'm playing. Then it really annoys the crap out of me.

For me it really depends also on the game. When I play competitive multiplayer or games with challenge, that is when I don't mind it. When I
play slow casual games with emphasis on story or open world like Skyrim or Walking Dead I prefer to be alone.

I don't really mind being watched as I play, granted it does make me play a little worse if I'm trying to speed run a level on a game like Mario, but actually being watched while playing a game like Super Smash Bros it may actually make me a play better. So pretty much my answer to the poll question is that it just depends on the situation.

I do like being watched.  My brother likes to watch me when I play games that he isn't allowed to play like Silent Hill or Dead Space.  He even likes to watch me play games that he can play too because most of the time I am better than him, except for Uncharted lol.

In games like RPGs, you usually have choices that effect the game world, and I feel those watching might judge me by the choices I make in the game. I also feel the other people might distract me from the plot in a story driven game. But in platformers or other action games, it doesn't bother me at all, in fact I prefer it in these types of games because it seems to make it more fun. People are amazed at what I can make the Mario man do to save Peach.
