I think VI was way better than ANYTHING that came out on the Playstation. VII was nowhere near as good as VI. VIII and IX? Forget about it.

I would disagree with many of you on VI being the best. I think many people believe VI and VII are the best because those games are what caused them to fall in love with the series. For me, IX is my favorite Final Fantasy which is not something very many others seem to agree with, but I believe that it may simply be because I'm younger than many of the fans of the series (20).


Looking back at all the FF games on the ps1 I think the main thing that stands out is how amazing the games look for the time they were created. I hope they get remakes like it seems X is, although I would be scared that they would try to make IX too realistic and change the anime like style of the original.

I really enjoyed ff7 and ff9 on the ps1. They are both good games I really wanted to play ff8. But I couldn't it was too confusing for me....

This is simply a matter of opinion. While my favorite Final Fantasy is 8, it is barely ahead of 10 for me. I have a really close friend that would argue with you for a LONG time about why 3 is superior in every way shape or form. When he first found out I liked 8 the best he thought I had no taste in video games. 

Personally, I have never cared for Final Fantasy 7. I found the story boring. I never took an interest in the characters. I literally had to force myself to finish the game. By the end I was so ready to be done I skipped all the extra stuff just to finish. Final Fantasy 9 was a good game, but it was to slow for me.

I could go on and on, it all depends on who you are talking to.

 Final fantasy 7 is the best Final fantasy game for the PS1. It's story was awesome. I like all of the characters. It was the first game with 3d graphics. The battle system was enjoyable. The music was very catchy. Final Fantasy 9 was a pretty good game too. Final Fantasy Tactics was too confusing. Final Fantasy 8 was too time consuming, confusing, and boring. While Final Fantasy 6 was just as good, if not better, than Final Fantasy 7, and even though it was released for the PS1, I do not consider it a PS1 game, because it originally came out for the SNES, therefore it is a SNES game.
