Chuck Norris is definitely the most overrated/overused! He gets more recognition from the meme's than he ever did as an actor.

As for now, my vote is for Chuck Norris.

I've got to say you missed at least one, and the one I think is the most overused: Motivational posters. These things were never funny, and since that became a thing it's sort of ruined the internet. People paste black borders around any funny image and call it original content. It's not funny, it's just obnoxious.

Too bad IT'S OVER 9000!!!!!!!! isn't up there, because that's used far too much everywhere.


Chuck Norris is over rated and over used in my opinion, really, they take something small like a human and make it huge, what the hell?

Gonna go with Chuck on this one. It's pretty old now and yet I still see it around and it just isn't very funny anymore. That being said, I never really cared for weegee (though I am biased).

Nyan cat isn't on here? I think that one has gone too far.

From the list, I decided arrow to the knee. I haven't played Skyrim, but I'm already tired of hearing that.

I use to hate "arrow to the knee jokes" but then I actually took and arrow to the knee and now I'm even more annoyed by them

Out of all the annoying over used memes i think magikarp is the most annoying but out of the options A F-CKING ARROW TO THE KNEE i got annoyed of that one as soon as i heard it >.>

Here's my 2 cents:

There are TONS of overused memes out there, whether they were funny at one point or not.
However, memes die, albeit some slower than others.

Chuck Norris is a pretty cool guy.  People found it fun to make jokes about people doing impossible things, and attaching them to an easily identifiable/relatable character made the jokes take off.  When you started saying "Chuck Norris can..." people knew what was coming, and expected a joke.  You could invent an amusing paradox, and then say that this already-well-known tough guy can do it; you could end up with a great joke, and you didn't even have to come up with the setup!
Unfortunately, everyone went overboard.  The t-shirts and everything made me get sick of the joke real fast.  And YourMajestyKen has it:  Chuck Norris became more known for the jokes than his acting career.  I'm sure you could ask many people who tell Chuck Norris jokes to name a show or movie he starred in, and they wouldn't be able to answer you.

I used to accept memes without complaint, but then I took an arrow to the knee.  We've all heard it.  This quote was popular because it was ridiculous; c'mon, ONE arrow to a JOINT and you can't adventure anymore? Even with magic and apothecaries galore to heal you?  Anyway, people latched onto it with extreme speed and force.  And, for one glorious week, it was funny.  It was crazy how fast it got annoying.  MILLIONS of people were saying it because MILLIONS of people were eagerly awaiting Skyrim.  Fortunately, the meme cooled down after a while.  Now, at least in the parts of the interwebs I frequent, the meme is rising from the ashes and is only used when it is sincerely funny.  As long as people use it with caution from now on, I don't mind it.

Most people have already grown out of Shoop-Da-Woop by now.

Weegee is really stupid.

tl;dr: Chuck Norris jokes are overrated, Arrow to the Knee has potential as long as people use it for good and not for evil.

Well, I know "Took an arrow to the knee" annoys a lot of people, but I honestly haven't heard it too much. Heck, Vizzed was the first time I heard about it. Although it is also the only internet board/community I am a part of. I am also surprised that OVER 9000!!!! isn't in that list. That would be the one for me. There is one user here who uses it all the time. One time, he made a thread in which he used it like 10 times in one post. I hate when people use it. But since it isn't on the list, I'll go with Chuck Norris. Now, I like it if they are funny or clever, but it is annoying when people suck at using it and make up stupid unfunny crap. But come on, the teabag/potato sack one is always hilarious
