The fees mentioned above can include and most likely will operate like a tv like package. Each subscription you have you get access to certain sites. If you wish to view sites not available on the package prepare to open up your wallets wider.

The internet is driving other forms of mass media out of business such as newspapers and television shows/stations. Throughout the next couple of years this Internet 2 will be in full effect and it basically will feel like a school computer.

People browsing the net will have to pay $55 per month for 40GB of bandwidth but connection speeds will be 10x as fast so you will use it up extremely fast if your not careful.

So basically to sum up Internet 2 it is going to be much faster which is the only good thing, the bad thing is everything else: censorship, thumb scans to go online (to track and charge of any crimes you commit), limited access, pay per view... and most importantly we will be stripped of our freedoms and raped for cash.

I wish I chose a different profession...

I honestly could see that as being a possibility but if it were true, I just think it would've been big news. The only thing I like about censorship is that it'd block kids from adult sites and that is something I see as a problem with internet and kids now days, they all have access to porn.

I think this is the most rediculus idea ever. ISP's just want to charge people for what should be free, eg, google, youtube.

That just won't happen. Can you imagine the reactions? Nobody would go with it and the internet would be completely useless. About 1% of the people with access now would be willing to pay even more for it.

..Maybe THIS is why just about every religion stops their calendars at 2012.... Because the clusterf*** of idiocy that is the governments' greed is starting to surface.

This idea will never sell as a commercial global possibility. Only small ISPs willing to destroy their companies or limit the viewing allowed by their services would (Such as corporate orgainsations that don't require the full access of the internet)

But its just them for now.. wait until people find how they can get more money from us.

Yeah, I mean, look at CABLE, my parents only had to pay electricity until "Cox" decided to CHARGE people monthly for it.


Their greed is getting too huge for its own good. I mean, who's gonna stop them from taxing us for clicking the "LOGOUT" link on the navbar on this site, or clicking "CLOSE" on this window?

It's going to get insane if other companies stumble across this and it's gonna make the internet a ghost web.

Neyro, that's because you navigate like one page: Anime. Sometimes on the home page they have replies from the 18+ section where there are rapists, murderers, and sick people going under the name 'anonymous', unless you like to troll there.... Which means my respect for you has drooped 1 point.

Actually Ibock, 4chan was a rather cool place (note the was). We could go around joking about rapings, 9/11, CP and pretty much anything there. The problems is when people do 4chan memes outside of 4chan.

The Internet will die if these dumb a-'s do this.They think they can charge everybody for everything. I say "Until they give us pay raises and stop giving themselves payraises, they should stop charging so much for so many things!" (That's right, I'm talking to you,Congress!)

It'll never happen. The competition would drive it out. There is too much advertising and marketing $$ in the internet. ISPs will just look for other ways to cover their expenses.

If anything happens, the internet will become MORE free and more accessible.

Sorry... I don't buy it.
