I totally wanted to see that film in theater when i was a kid I was saying that film could beat Power Rangers the movie but it didn't And didnt saw the movie in theater too bad for me but the film sucks anyway

That movie was worth seeing only once. Good action, but it could have been a whole lot better. No movie based on a game was ever good with the exception of FF: Advent Children. But that only worked out because it took place after the event of the game. Had it been about the actual story line it would have sucked and the FF7 fan base would have been b****ing about it for years.

But all others were bad. Mario, Double Dragon, Street Fighter to an extent. Any others I'm missing?

I agree with the current majority. The movie SUCKED! Compared to the current "fighting video game" based movies like Tekken and Mortal Kombat, it could have been a WHOLE lot better in terms of story line, action, and creativity. I think there was too much talking and not enough action. It would have been nice to see the characters use their powers at least in one scene, sadly it didn't happen.

Street Fighter - The Legend of Chun Li, made in 2009 is MUCH BETTER, there's a lot of killing and she uses several of her signature powers and attacks like the "bubble" and rapid kicks to name a few. If you haven't seen it, I'd recommend to.

Street Fighter The Movie sucked. I'm not even a big fan of Street Fighter, but I saw it anyway, and I would rather watch movies like Batman & Robin over the fail that was Street Fighter.

It wasn't the worst movie in the world, but I didn't really care for it that much. I guess they at least tried to stay true to the source material...which is more than I can say for the Super Mario Bros movie...but it still was pretty crappy overall.

I saw the Mortal Kombat Movie. It was ... not so great the street Fighter Movie was more or less the same if not worse. I thought The Silent Hill game was pretty good. i really enjoyed it.

As far as the 90's Street Fighter movie, that is just one of those movies that despite being so bad, there is something about it that makes you decide to watch it when it is on. It is so ridiculous and has such cheesy acting, but it is one of those guilty pleasures.
