Here is yet another brief lesson from me, mr.pace.  This time it's own repentance.  First we must know that there are to types of repentance. Worldly repentance and Godly repentance.  Second we must understand the two different types of repentance.  Worldly repentance is when we repent, not discerning the true meaning of repentance.  In other words, simply repenting because the bible says repent of some told you to repent and not be truly sorry and knowing that you mean to do the same sinful thing again.  Godly repentance is when you repent because the bible teaches repentance for the remission of sin and to sincerely sorry and discerning that of which the true purpose of repentance is with no conscience intention of doing the same sinful act.  Which are you? Worldly of Godly?  The truth is for the most part we even as Christian believers and followers of Christ, are worldly sorry and repent knowing that you'll be forgiven, but we should take note that God knows our hearts better than we do.  For the Lord examines not the body but the heart.  He sits high and looks low.  We must realize that even though we mean no harm that just by having a sour heart, we are jeopardising our prayers being heard.  We must the Lord promised us that he'll never leaves us nor forsake us but it is us that leaves and forsakes him.  It is absolutely imperative that examine our hearts when we ask the Lord for forgiveness. 

Worldly repentance= You're sorry because you got caught, True repentance= You are truly sorry for your wrongdoing.
