I was actually hoping to hit the 20,000 post milestone before the vizzed anniversary but I failed at that so than I made it a goal to hit it before the year ended and it looks like I've succeeded at that!

This is a massive milestone, not many people reach this on any board and I'm not sure if I ever thought I'd reach this size of a milestone years ago.

To give you an idea of how big of an accomplishment this is, if you were to read all my posts and it took an average of 15 seconds to read my posts, it would take 83.3 hours to read all my posts.  And as of this post, I've typed up a total of 1,279,128 words on vizzed board.

About how many man hours went into making all my posts?  Well if it took me an average of 1 minute per a post, it would take 333.3 hours.

It'll probably be a while before anyone else hits this milestone but if I were to take a guess, I'd say it'd be legacyme3 (I would say geeogree but his activity dropped greatly and who knows when it'll go up again).

I definitely won't be hitting it for at least a year.

If you look back at the Vizzed Awards, for active users, you will see I made 9,000 or so posts in a year.

If I make 9000 in a year, I will just get over 20,000 by next year.

Maybe I should make it MY goal to hit 20,000 before next years Vizzed Awards

Anyway, congrats David, I saw this one coming for a long time. And it's definitely exciting to have someone above that 20k mark.

Yeah, 20k is huge for anyone on any board, whether they're the owner or a member or anything. I actually enjoy having David post around as owner for a bit, even if they're just random Vizzed news or status updates or rants on the staff.

Anyways, congrats on making it to a massive 20,000 posts! Those aren't even including the posts on the old Vizzed Board!

I hope you continue working and posting on the site to make it to 30k, 40k, and even 50k.

Congratulations David, even though you didn't reach 20K posts before the anniversary of Vizzed you still reached it before 2012. Good luck on getting 25K and higher.

I cant imagine hiting 20k,that really is a tonne of posting.

Nice work that is a ton of posts Now your new goal should be 100,000 within 5 years from now. In 5 years I should be close to 20,000.

JigSaw : I think it'll take me more like 10 or 15 years to hit 100,000 lol.  Hopefully I can hit 1 million before I die from old age

Congratulations, David! I'll bet that, especially if you count the posts you've made in previous versions of Vizzed, you alone have more posts than other boards have in their entirety! No one deserves more to be the first to hit such a milestone as this than the person who runs the it. geeogree could be an exception, but this thread isn't about him.

It's possible I'll be hitting 20,000 posts before the end of next year and before Leggy seeing that his post activity has dropped drastically since his previous posting sprees. We both recently passed Septembern, changing the top posting rankings and also making Geeogree and David new additions to my post radar!

Anyways, congratulations on hitting the highest milestone. I expect to be joining you on the top very soon....

How much percentage of all posts do you estimate that you have?

alexanyways : nearly 4% of all the posts on the board are mine.  Only a few years ago, I think over 10% of all the posts on the board were mine.

So what's next, 30,000?

Yeah, as odd as it sounds, with what's going on, I could hit 25,000 before you do (Which will be hard for new members to understand since I have about half that amount)

I'm already on pace to hit 20,000 before my 20th birthday at the rate I'm currently posting.
