Has anyone else had this message pop up on them when they have clicked the thumbnail to a youtube video??

Then it just has a bunch of weird numbers and letter codes...
And the monkey part? 0.o'
This has happened to me more than once. It doesn't harm my computer or anything and i can just refresh the page to make the video appear.
At first i thought it was some kind of crazy virus somebody made up, but it just pops up here from time to time.

I think the monkeys part was just Youtube trying to be a bit humorous. x3

As for the error, I don't think there's anything you can do about it. I've seen Error 500 before elsewhere, and it doesn't seem like it's a problem on your end. The most you can do is refresh or wait.
