Well I saw Legacyme3 making a blog so I asked if I could.  Well as you can see the answer was yes!

Who is RequiemHaunt?  Well my real name is Olivia and I live in New York state.  At the moment I am on medical leave going on 2 years once I hit April.  I fell down with a mysterious illness on April 16, 2010.  First everyone thought it was cancer, then maybe something with my digestion, now we are back at 0 ideas.  First off now I have to loose weight in order for the doctors to fully examine the area in question.  Which with my ailing thyroid is nearly impossible.  I keep trying and it isn't happening fast enough.  So next year I will go under the knife to get that band thing put around my stomach to force my body to loose weight!  No I'm not too scared I had major surgery in October 2010 to explore my organs to see if I had cancer.  So this is nothing new.  (Though I did almost die twice when that happened x.x)

Right now since I can't work you will hear the moans of me being locked in this house and not being able to do anything.  You also get to hear the crazy antics of my little 4 year old sister Madison.  I will also post progress of my story "The Bloody Kingdom" which I have posted on my deviant art profile.  http://requiemhaunt.deviantart.com


So what has happened today?

It is the weekend before Christmas and I just got all my shopping done at Wallmart!  Surprisingly it wasn't crowded like I thought it would be.  I got out of there in only half an hour!  That includes a stop for a drink and the ladies room!  Today I also rearranged the pantry, because my little sister's babysitter gave us LOADS of food!  I counted 50 cans of canned food, 20 ramen packages, 10 bags of meat, 1 full turkey, 5 boxes of pasta, and 2 bags of potatoes!  Well now we don't have to worry about Christmas dinner!  Well except for all the drinks we need and the desserts! (Some how drinks are the most important thing in our family parties...  We always run out of diet sodas lol!)

Loads more to come tomorrow about church and my little sisters first hair salon visit!

Wow, I didn't know all that was happening to you, Req. Let me know when the surgery happens and I'll be sure to pray for you (I dunno if you're religious or not, though. But I'll still be thinking of you x3).

You got a whole turkey? Your sister's babysitter must really be generous. It's quite a treat to get a whole turkey like that.

Now I have a craving for turkey. So when next year to you get the band put in?

rcarter2 : I don't know when my surgery is.  I have to call the doctor tuesday when I know my dad's new work schedual.  I am planning on getting it done after new years.  I'd hate to miss out on family stuff.

Yeah. I couldn't imagine having to have to wait. The doctors can't even look at it until after you get a surgery sometime next year. I hope it isn't something serious so that the wait doesn't allow anything to progress

rcarter2 :   I've been going through tests for almost 2 years.  Waiting a little longer won't matter.  I just can't function well enough to work that's all~

So today I had the day to myself I wrapped up pressents, cleaned the house, and vegged in front of the TV.  My sister didn't take a nap today so now at 6:50 pm she wants to go to bed....  I didn't get to go with my family to see my little sister's first salon visit, but I heard she was a ham!  She was so good her mom bought her a new dress that looks like Kiki from "The Fresh Beat Band" (which is  a Nick Jr. show). 

One good thing for me was that I got in touch with an old old old internet friend that I haven't talked to in 2 years or more.  That was fun today~  Brought back awesome memories of running a Ragnarok Online server with him.  Sad we can't do that any more... T.T

Eee gahd I forgot about church!  Well today was children's service at church.  My little sis was the best behaved out of all the preschoolers there!  She did what she was told and was quiet when she had to be.  It was also decorating day for the church so we spent a good 2 hours decorating everything. 

Tomorrow is kinda of a dead day for me.  I'll be just cleaning my room and the floors.  My little sister finally goes back to her baby sitter's house tomorrow so that gives me more time to do stuff around the house.  When I had to take care of her I only had about 5 hours if that to get everything done!  Believe me when I say those 5 hours only feel like 2 hours when you have lots to do.  You have to eat breakfast, clean dishes, clean the floors, tidy up all the rooms, take care of the cat boxes, take a shower, then eat lunch all before 1 pm!  Most of the time I didn't get it all done!

Ugh. Just dishes alone makes me understand that. My fiancee cooks, so dishes are my job. It is a pain with how long it takes.

I have two younger sisters, but they're only a few years younger than me. And to me, they're more annoying than cute.

I think you do a lot more chores than me. Don't you get bored through it all?

Someone70 : Oh believe me when I say I would much rather be working on my story and playing some video games.  But if I don't keep this house clean I might loose my place here and have to sleep outside with no food, medicine, or shelter.  I am on very thin ice with my step mom and my dad always sides with her....

Oh, I see. Well, it sounds like you at least make the very best of your situation. It's definitely better than being on the streets. x3

Speaking of your story, how's that coming along?

That sucks that you are on such thin ice. Yeah, definitely get why you would be cleaning and such. When you said next year, is it relatively soon (like next month)?

Well I have been having trouble with my family the past two days and thus all my emo stress has been put into another thread.

To sum it up for those who didn't read the other thread, my step mom blew up at me for causing the trouble in her marriage to my dad and for ruining Christmas for siding with my brother.  She's one of those freaks that hates seeing other people express emotions so when I said I was upset the she would not let my brother join us for Christmas she blew up at me.  It got to an ugly point where I almost ended myself that night.  I had to come on here and find some sort of support.  I felt hopeless and alone.  But now things are looking up I got my minister involved and he's going to help me next year get a new place to live.  Right now I just got to make sure not to talk around my step mom.  Thank god I have my mp3 player to keep me in my own little world!

Other news is that I did contract the cold that is going around and I am worried if I will get chapter 4 done in time!  Jeez when it rains it pours!  After this post I'm getting to work on my story even though I am told to sleep the day away... 

I am really glad you were able to find someone who can help you try to find a new living arrangement. It is just good to hear that you might be able to get out of there. It is just not a good situation for you to to have to deal with. I really hope it can all work out.

Oh, I'm sorry Req. It sounds like you've been put through a lot. D:

I'm glad that you have something to look forward to, though. It might be good to get away from all this for a while.

Don't worry about working too hard on the story. You're health is more important than that, you know. It'd be better if you got the rest you need, first. x3

Well to even out the bad that this week has put me through I did get to have one really good thing happen to me today!  I was able to have some down time and read the translated parts of Galerians first Light Novel!  I do hope the translators keep up the good work!  I so do love Galerians so having the light novels translated will be a wonderful treat!

Nothing else was very eventful because I just used the day to relax and get better.  Thankfully I am getting better I no long am all plugged up and my head doesn't hurt anymore!  The sore throught has gone down a lot but I still can't talk that well.  For now also my step mom is being super nice to me!  I think she realized how much she hurt me.  In all things are looking up for christmas!
