Mine is fake so we don't get dead bristles and the smell of the forest in our house. But it takes a lot of time to set up and take down each year. :/

My family always used a fake tree. When I moved out with my fiancee, we never really had a tree because we were never home for Christmas. Now, we have a fake tree in the basement. But she is going to take it to her first grade classroom to set it up there. (or have me set it  up)
