Picture in your mind: You go into chat, attempt to talk to people, start up conversation, but people shun you away and call you a noob. Well, if this is the case, you might be a noob. Here are some tips and tricks to help you get back on your feat.

0) Listen to the mods in chat, especially, but not limited to,legacyme3. If a moderator muted you, wait until you are un-muted to kindly ask why that happened. If the moderator tells you no to do something, listen to that person. If you choose to go into a blind rage about it, you could get kicked out or even banned from the chat. Oh, and remember to listen to Leggy. At all times. Even if he's not in chat.

1) The first thing you can do is be as mistake free as possible. Consider the following phrases. They are saying the same thing but their impression on you is different:

i just 8 a ton of ramen im feeling 2 full lol

I just ate a ton of ramen, and I'm feeling too full, haha.

Punctuation is pretty much key, especially when it comes to contractions. You don't have to throw an apostrophe in between the I and the m, but it sure does look better when you do.

Capitalization may be nothing more than a pet peeve of mine, but I always capitalize my i's when referring to myself.

Generally, using numbers in the place of words ain't gonna fly. (Neither is using r for 'are' or u for 'you' usually)

2) Don't RP in General and don't beg people to go RP with you in the RP room.

3) Don't bug people. If they want you to leave them alone, respect this privacy and leave them alone.

4) Be careful when bringing up your religious and political views, and never attack people for theirs. Just don't be a bigot.

5) Don't insult members, especially indirectly. There is nothing I look down upon more than passive aggresive insults.

6) Don't challenge Morsalbus to a 'stay up all night contest'. Ever.

7) It is okay to ask somebody for some help with a minor RGR problem, but don't come into chat just to rattle off all your issues. We like to chat, not answer questions.

8) Don't just repeat what everyone else. Have your own opinion.

9) Don't say things completely unrelated to the topic at hand.

10) Absolutely no YouTube embed videos. There is a room for that.

11)Memes are not cool. Every once in a while, used in moderation, they would be fine, but saying OVER 9000 every other sentences just comes off as annoying.

12)Spelling greatly affects how people see you. Take the few extra seconds to type out the whole word and fix your mistakes, so people don't see you as lazy or even uneducated.

13) Don't keep putting up links to things like Pokefarm or GPXplus. Don't do it at all, really or Iris will come find you.

14) There's more chat rooms than just General Chat. If you want to use that embed feature, go to the Music / Youtube Room. Want to RP or be stupid? Immature / RP. If you really need help with something, you might want to go into the Guest Chat / Help Room.

15) Be Mature. We expect you act your age, not your shoe size.

16) Participate in chat. Idleness sucks.

Remember, these are just suggestions. You don't have to spell right, and you can challenge Mors all you want (you won't win anyway), but I guarantee somebody is gonna call you a noob. If you want to to take the first steps toward not being a noob, I'd suggest, no I'd hope, you would follow these tips.

I have a few suggestions:

8) Don't just repeat what everyone else said (particularly in the help, questions, or polls threads). We get that sometimes your opinion is the 
    same as some other users, but please try to add a little variety. Nobody likes to read the same sentence over and over.
9) Don't make short posts that have nothing to do with the topic of the thread. That just ticks people off (particularly the creator of the thread 
    who gets summoned to read a pointless post)

Nobody even reads the FAQ.

How can you expect people like that to not be an idiot?

Wow this should be stickied in general  chat!  This is the best guied for success in the chat room!  If people followed these guidelines it would a little bit of a nicer place in the chat room.  Good job TJ!
