As of Today, 12-06-11, the "new" Vizzed Board is 7 years old!

This has been both the worst year and best year of vizzed. Vizzed survived some serious DDoS attacks, had some hackers trying to inject viruses into the site, had some serious server issues multiple times, but in the end, Vizzed is more active than it has ever been so the goods outweigh the bads. Vizzed hit some huge milestones such as 250 million views, 500,000 posts, most posts within a single day (2351), most posts within a single hour (268), and many more. For all the members who stayed loyal to vizzed throughout this entire year, I thank you, I couldn't have a greater community to be in charge of.





AWARD CEREMONY

First I'd like to start out by giving out my awards (which I've been doing for years now).

She has donated a total of $550 in the past year, which is more than anyone in the history of vizzed! That money has really helped out vizzed and she donated that money during times vizzed was struggling to recover from attacks.

I don't know what I would do without this guy. He does a LOT for the Retro Game Room and he saves me a TON of time by taking care of the RGR Staff for me. If it wasn't for the person who got member of the year (not going to reveal any spoilers on that), tRIUNE would've definitely got it.

He's put a lot of time into vizzed over the past year and has done a great job at reconstructing the staff and helping me organize and keep control over stuff. He's done just about everything for vizzed a member can do, he's donated a ton of money over the past year ($250), he's made a ton of posts (and even past me in post count for a short while), he's worked his way up to an admin position (and will probably be the last to ever reach that position), etc (the list goes on and on). If vizzed was a Madden NFL game, he'd definitely be on the cover because he was easily the most valuable user of the year when you add up everything he's done for me, the site and the community. He was due for this award (some might say he should've got it years ago) and he got it just in time since he's stepping down from his admin responsibilities.

There was a ton of participation this year, even more than last year. Of course it was the most active year as well. I expect we'll have 1 million posts total by next anniversary.

Well this is something I didn't think I would make any list.  I'm not on much due to family / medical reasons so this never crossed my mind.  Thanks to who voted for me!

geeogree - 59 total votes

155 total votes between me and geeogree (the two highest vote getters by far. Third was either the_casualty, Elara, or Someone70, and they had around 23 or so)

So if you remove just globals+ that kind of makes a LOT more votes available.
