I've come to realize I'm getting sick of threads that say "Do you like ______ pokemon or ______ pokemon more?"

They are spam waiting to happen, and it requires no effort to post in those threads.

So I'm trashing all the This or That threads.

So would that include the Guess the Next Person's Favorite Pokemon thread too?

Would this include the ____ is better than _____ threads? I have also seen a large number of those and they seem to be growing.

I really dont use this forum,but im glad those threads are being trashed,they are annoyingly pointless.

YourMajestyKen : I would say leave those attack ones up because they do require knowledge about those Pokemon, or at the very least research.

I think that "Guess the next person's favorite Pokemon" is a pretty terrible game thread, since it requires little to no thought.

But I digress.

I put it with Crazy House quality honestly. It requires little thought, but a lot of people like them and I can imagine people would get too upset about it being closed.

So it stays but not because I like it.

Someone70 : I didn't close it simply because it fits into the Forum Games sub forum and as you said, requires knowledge of Pokemon.

Ah, yes, I made a boatload of those. the were very easy to make. I honestly don't mind, though leggy, you have a good reason for doing it.

Good. I was getting tired of seeing like 5 of these threads staying near the top of the new posts list. Why is it when one person comes up with an idea for a thread that ends up getting a lot of posts, people ruin it by making 20 more versions of it?

haitamchouiekh : You have a slight point. This IS the Vizzed Pokemon Fan Club but the purpose is to eliminate short posts (spam) in this particular forum.

Threads like "Blastoise Vs Charizard" or "who is better" threads are likely to get short replies like "yes or no it's cooler" etc. Something along those lines. This is why these kinds of threads get trashed and since this forum belongs to Leggy, he decides what stays and doesn't.

haitamchouiekh : Most of what you said is nonsensical. Another thing, Leggy does NOT boss me around.....and age is completely irrelevant. I'm in agreement with him and this rule of trashing these threads which is why I trashed about 4 of yours already.

They are absolute spam

Whether people like your threads or not, that doesn't matter, what matters is following the rules. If it doesn't follow the rules, then it's going to be closed.

Congrats on being 11, but age means nothing.

And if you don't want to post on one of my forums... I'd suggest you just leave the site. Considering I'm a global moderator... I have power of ALL the forums on site. I'm the senior global, as well as the moderator manager. The moderators listen to me, as a sign of respect. I can order them to do something, but most of the time, I let them do what they were hired to do.

At the end of the day, this is a rule. A rule that I made using my power as owner of the VPFC. If you don't like it, don't post.
