Some returns but it not the same anymore so they focus on other lifestyle and storyline in order to bring in more fans. I'm not a fan of Pokemon but back in elementary kids were into it .They move on after New Pokemon was introduced 11 yrs ago.Then  the new fans came along and  replace all of the old fans so the business is still running.
