I have to agree. The BEST Christmas movies are Home Alone 1 and 2. The third wasn't that great because of the change of actors.

I'm gonna go a little stereotypical here and say A Christmas Story. I absolutely love that movie, though it is hard to place why exactly. I like the narrator, I like the story itself, and the characters are so wonderfully and carefully developed.

Even though it isn't the BEST movie, I'm really fond of Jingle All the Way.  It's just funny, has a great soundtrack and I like Schwarzenegger's humorous roles.  Joyeux Noel (which was already mentioned) is a really beautiful movie, that I saw for the first time in my high school French class a few years ago.
I also enjoy Scrooged and It's a Wonderful Life, like others said as well.
And of course, all of the Rankin/Bass specials.  Even though they are (mostly) made for tv and under and hour long, they have a wonderful charm to them that is hard to beat.

If you were asked, what's the first thing that comes to your mind when I say the words "Home Alone" the common response would be Macauly Culkin and not the actor from the third movie. I'm glad there are only 3 Home Alone movies because more than 3 remakes of any movie becomes predictable and overall boring.
