As for that, I don't know, I would probably make more forums with different topics, but I'm not sure what, but I would want to do that.

If I had complete control over the forums I would probably go on a banning spree. Anyone without a bolded name would be first on my list

After that I would hold an awesome party.

I'd probably separate the Game Room and Forum. Put each on a separate site... like...

retrogameroom.vizzed.com or something. Put more focus on the forum.

I'd also make the site have many different looks. A black and white theme, a green theme, and a yellow theme. Because why not?

I'd probably put a few forums into one and add a few more forums.

First of all, if I became Owner, I would probably spree to 100000 posts in count. Then I would trash the thread I used, and keep going on with Vizzed like nothing happened, and probably try to take up all the computer language Davideo7 knows so I can follow in his footsteps and advance the future of Vizzed.

I'd give myself a custom username color, and I'd sandwich post in Crazy House and nobody could do anything about it.

Id give myself an awesome name style and make it so everyons layouts had pics of me with king writen in bold under it,and have everyones custom title set to all hail the king,and strike down all who oppose me.

Probably reduce the number of forums. There are just so many. Take one of the clusters and turn it into one big forum with a lot of sub-forums.

Follow in geeo's footsteps. Ban a few annoying people. Fire some of the less worthy staff members (not naming names....... leggy).

A better question would be what wouldn't I do if I were in charge? The very first thing I would do is fix the Help Center, because all of the information in there is ridiculously out of date, and in some cases incoherent and non-applicable. Next I'd go around the forum looking for all of the little typos and other such errors. Broken tables, etc. I'd do away with all of the RGR/VGR staff, and delete most of the reviews. I know you asked what I'd do if I were in charge of the FORUM, but the way the system is set up, reviews are handled by the forum.

I'd probably remove RGR staff positions, and just give the abilities that RGR staff has to Elites, maybe Trusted. No, scratch that, we need to keep things good here.

There'd be a complete overhaul of the Viz system. Games would cost more, but posting would also be worth more. You wouldn't get any Viz just for logging in, but you'd get 5,000 if someone you referred made it to 100 posts.

I'd do away with Flashchat, that program has been nothing but trouble for David, and I'd just replace it with an AJAX IRC client.

I would fix the Layout section so you could, first of all access it easily, and also so you could move between the Advanced layout creator and the image uploader easily. I would remove the "Vizzed was created by David Auchampach" and replace it with "Vizzed runs on a modified version of Acmlmboard created by Jean-François Lapointe". Also I would update the copyright notice to indicate the fact that it is currently 2012.

I would implement a way for moderators, both Local and Global to search by IP address, allowing them to check for account spoofing and multiple accounts.

I wouldn't remove the ads, but I would change them from the very aggressive and obnoxious ads that Vizzed currently has. I would probably make them either Google ads, or maybe I'd allow some from Project Wonderful.

I would remove all traces of the RPG battle system. This isn't to say that there would never be an RPG battle system, just that you wouldn't see any vestiges of it until it was completely (or at least nearly so).

I would enhance the search features on the member list, allowing you to search not just by name, but by date of registration, date last active and other things.

I would create more skins for the board, and allow users to submit skins as well. The same with rank sets.

And most importantly, I would create a post search that would allow you to search for posts by forum, threads by forum, posts by users, posts by keyword, and many others.

And, over my time at Vizzed of made probably a hundred other suggestions I can't think of right now. But if you look at my profile, probably half of the threads I've created were ideas for changes to the forum.

I would make a new ranking system that goes:

Newbie - just joined

Normal member: 5 post

Vizzed regular - 500 posts

Vizzed Master - 5000 posts

Vizzed boss- 10,000+ posts

Local Mod - same

Global mod - same

RGR staff - same

It would cost 1000 Viz to change the color to your name.
