Cool, I made 50 posts yesterday and 8 points for the VCS!

I'm thinking I could come 2nd this month because my holidays are finishing on the 6th.

OK, I'm going to make a quick note of this since there is some confusion over the Crazy House rule.

For this VCS, until a uniform is standard, the limit will be 15%. If you post more than 15% of your posts in Crazy House, don't be surprised if you are DQ'd. I'll give a little lee way here and there, but don't go overboard with my trust.

silverthundr and mike345 are already creating a pretty big gap.  At this rate, they might be out of everyone's reach within a week lol.

Won't do him any good if he gets DQ'd today. Currently he sits at 8 posts in CH with 31 posts. Which is about 25%, or in other words, over the limit.

legacy- I think that for how many posts can be in the Crazy House it needs to be represented by a ratio instead of a percentage. For example, I have been makinging 1 out of every 5 posts in the Crazy House. Under what I go with, that means I would be making 20% of my posts in that forum. I am not saying you should go with what I do, I'm just saying it should be easier for others to understand that way.

Generally I use percentages, because ratios can be misleading. I think 20% is being too leinent, and can make for a LOT of CH posts, which is why I set it at 15% or roughly 1 CH post every 6 2/3 posts.

(15% as a ratio would equal 1 post every 6.67)

leggy- I know that 20% is too lenient right now. That's why I said don't go with what I've been doing. I'm just saying that I think it would be easier for the younger members to understand that, if they want to compete in the VCS, they ought not to post more than 1 for every so-and-so posts outside the CH --but I understand that fractions could get in the way as well. I just think it would be easier for them to understand that way if they don't know about percentages. Food for thought.

I know growing up kids had issues with math and fractions and what not. I never had that issue so it's hard for me to really understand it myself.

When I say 1 per 6.67 it's like "OK" for me, even though I know some people are probably confused >.>

I have been really lazy though I feel at least 25 posts coming on today. I wish that the Post Radar would stop hiding from me though. COME BACK RADAR!

The easy way to do Crazy House posts and be at 15% is for 3 of your posts be CH out of every 20. It's really easy. In fact, that's basically what I do to keep myself from going over the limit. It's a nice little trick. Also, it looks like sub-forums, VCS, and Post Radar are all fixed now. Just when I get on, no less. How convenient.

silverthundr : I usually just make one or two quick posts to end the night in there just because it is easy and I know I will not go over that way. Some people only post in there though.

Honestly i wouldnt be altogether concerned about being dp'd because i just go with whatevers in new posts,i dont seek out topics and post tons with the intention of going up in the vc's,thats really a side note to me.
Its apparent somepeople deliberately do though.

Got to be careful, Mike. There are plenty of other places to post beside CH and if you think you're posting in there too much, take your posts elsewhere and balance out that ratio.
