What's the thing you are the best at?

Hey David, what game generation (from 1st though 8th) you think really had the biggest impacted in the whole video gaming industry?

Barathemos : We had 20 or so trick or treaters and we gave each 3 mini candy bars and a bible tract. Our kids are young so we avoid giving them candy since it's bad for their physical health, mental health and oral health.

What are you going to do with all your dead forums? Are you ever going to let people use them for projects like rom hacking? You have about 100 dead forums out of your 160 forums.

Barathemos : Eventually when I have more time.

Where did you learn to make flash games? Do you know any good websites to learn html or php coding or a place to test out the coding? I found a few, but I want something a little more in depth.

Barathemos : It's not always about how many dead forums there are it's how much time he has and how man he wants active. He could have 1,000 forums if he wanted to, but he doesn't want too many being active one time.

I was just adding how many he has.   It doesn't really matter.

Now I guess I have to ask you a question.......

Those are video tutorials but they're very expensive. I learned the basics of flash game design from this book:

Barathemos : I sometimes use that thread to post the results for various competitions, write up threads that I'm preparing to release to the public, posting resources, etc. I really don't post very many things there.

Awesome-Kid : I might get the Sims 4, I've played and owned all the other ones so I would love to at very least try it out. Yeah I've seen the trailer already, it looks pretty sweet. I was hoping for a bigger improvement in the graphics but everything else is awesome and I love that you have even more control over the physical appearance of your sims.

How far are you in Pokemon X and Y. If you are still haven't made it to the 2nd gym . Don't worry it picks up. Also, will there be a tournament for more modern games next year, Like Pokemon?

I've been trying to be a more open minded gamer but I seem to keep going back to the same genres, mainly RPGs & platforms with the occasional FPS. Is there anything you would recommend to broaden my horizons? 

Except for horror. I will never do horror.

How can one (by that I mean me) get a custom username. That is, how can I customize my username to make it unique and cool?

mourinhosgum : I haven't made it to the 2nd Gym yet but I have invested a lot more time into the game than you would think for someone who hasn't made it to the 2nd Gym yet. I've been making sure to do everything and not to skip anything, I've been trying to catch every available Pokemon so far and I've been doing a lot of battling at the Battle Chateau. I've also been doing a lot of playing with my Pokemon, Super Training and my Braixen is at level 32, my Pikachu is at level 29 and my Axew is at level 25 (which is high considering I haven't made it to the 2nd gym yet).

So between taking my time and only getting to invest a half hour into the games a day, it'll probably be a while before I beat the game lol.

Do you mean a site wide tournament?

Surgiac : Brain games are great, my favorite being Brain Challenge. Not only are they fun and challenging but they're very beneficial for your brain. If you don't have a way to get Brain Challenge (I think it's for a few devices) than I would recommend one of the Brain Age games for the DS or 3DS.

Mistress : I'm not sure what exactly is considered a literature classic but I enjoyed the book Robinson Crusoe.

supercool22 : I'm not sure what my all time favorite TV show is, I feel like it constantly changes. I suppose my current favorite is 19 kids and counting.

It's kinda cool that you're keeping up with this almost daily now.  Also, I feel like you and I have a lot in common. XD I've also only gotten to the second gym only in Pokemon X. However, it's probably more due to the fact that I don't have much time to play.  Also, I try to do every little thing and catch all the pokemon along the way. I simply don't ever do the online trading stuff. 

Speaking of my question:  Just for fun. Would you catch any pokemon, name it David, and trade it with me if I ever made the time for it?  It'd be pretty epic to have a pokemon from you. haha.

Also, Robinson Crusoe is one of my favorites.  I loved it as a child and still love it.  Did you like Cast Away (the movie staring Tom Hanks).  Although there's really only one similarity, it made me think a lot of Robinson Crusoe.
