What exactly does an Admin do on this site, and why aren't there any right now?

patar4097 : An admin is basically a Global Mod who has a few extra powers. I'd prefer having 3 globals who are equal in power than 1 Admin who is over the globals.

Could you possibly PM me how to set up sub forums in my forum? I would like to get it completely set up tonight if possible, since I will be awake all night doing CQ anyway.

thing1 : when you make a thread there are options for sub forums and an option that says "other" check it and then type what you want the sub forum to be called. Do this for at least two different threads then the sub forum will be made.

Are you looking to adding any new globals in the near future or are you happy with the current sate of your moderator staff?

I know we have talked about an "achievement" system in the past, but is there any plans in place to allow users to "Favorite" games or make some sort of a list on their profile?

The reason I ask is there are hundreds of games/hacks being added to the site every month or so...with this sheer amount of games sometimes I forget that there is a particular game I want to play. A feature like this would be VERY useful to a lot of members.

"2 open slots that appear toward the top of every page, users can define what link they want in those slots by clicking them (or editing profile), and that link will always be available at the top of every page". Anyway, I was wondering when that idea would be implemented.

thing1 : Once 3 threads have been assigned to a sub forum, than that sub forum shows up as an optional sub forum. The sub forum is more of a dynamic thing.

Jordanv78 : The globals actually don't want any more globals. I brought up the possibility of a 5th global a while back (before rcarter stepped down) and they thought 4 was enough for now.

PokemonMaster121 : I don't know, I guess we'll see. Sega Saturn and 3DO are systems I'd love to get added but the costs of having them added and the extra server fees might be too much.

Vizzed is my full time job. I do make enough off of the site ads to get by and support my family. It's definitely a blessing that I do because if I didn't, there's no way I could justify investing 40+ hours a week into working on the site. The fact that I make enough off of the site to not have to work a full time job is the reason I can get so much stuff accomplished on the site. I don't make a ton of money and that's not my goal, I just need to make enough so that I can continue justifying putting in so many hours into this site so that I can continue making this the best retro gaming site on the internet

earthwarrior : I only want to add free netplay to games with tournaments that staff are hosting. However, I'd be willing willing to make that game not require the netplay item for 1 month if you "sponsor" that game for 10,000 Viz.
