Last Friday, there were 2 small earthquakes. Each about 6 hours apart and started at the same location;Berkeley. The first one happened at 2:21 PM, it felt like someone was kicking my chair, and it was during class too. The second one happened when I was eating dinner at 8:16 PM. Luckily the earthquakes were 4.0 magnitude, so no damages. It was a abnormal day for me.

Didowe : Could you add any valuable information to this thread? Yeah, I didn't think so.

Anyway, that really sucks for you. I live on a fault line, and I'm in threat of a MASSIVE earthquake everyday, and we just did a huge drill on earthquakes and it was fun. Seems like the earthquakes are occurring more often for the world, which is bad news for us, really.

The suspected earthquake that might occur here is a possible 10.0 or over. Yeah, it's that bad. I also live on the island that lives directly on the fault line, and we get less than 0.5-ish magnitude earthquakes DAILY. It's funny, because we never notice it.

Didowe : Please stop spamming threads.

hoguan : 2 Earthquakes in one day is not unusual...in fact it happened not too long ago. New York and Washington D.C was hit with the aftershock from the Virginia Earthquake earlier this year. It's abnormal for the Eastern Coast to be hit with any Earthquakes and/or aftershocks. Relieving to hear nothing was seriously damaged during your experience.

By the way, where is your location?

The second earthquake could've been helped along by the first one. In any case, it's not unusual to have two or more earthquakes in a row in the same place. Fortunately, it didn't seem to be anything huge.

Didowe : Hey hey hey your ban makes my eyes hurt. 4.0 magnitude. Stop flaming people bro...

That is really strange to have more than 1 earthquake in a day. I would have been very scared of the day at that time. 1 is unusual but 2! Just very scary.

Okay, I thought so....Earthquakes are common on the West Coast, especially in California.

How often are you guys hit with Earthquakes?
