I never did like to travel.I always get car sick and sleepy. The farthest I have been away from home is in my state.

Is it strange that I have never left my state. I think it is because everyone in my class has been out of the state.

is there anyone else here that has never left the state they are in? Also how far away from home have you been?

For an american, especialy a teenager, thats really not that weird.
Personaly im from the uk and iv been to many different countries but in europe people are more interested in exploring new places and cultures.
I never understand why 90% of americans dont though...

I've only ever left state once, and that was as a little kid so see an aunt. I might have been out one other time, but I can't recall. So I guess the answer is no, and I don't know if it's weird.

I wouldn't say it's weird. People can find just as many things to do at home as they can find abroad. I've been to many different countries, but that doesn't mean just staying within your state is boring. =P

Nah I would say that is normal. I also get very sleepy while riding in the car just because it is so rhythmic and such. I do not like it but it is what happens.

I wouldn't call it weird. I would say that you are probably in the minority for being 14 years old. I don't know anyone personally who is at least a teenager who hasn't been out of the state. But I guess if you live in a large state like California or Texas, I can imagine it. If you live in Hawaii or Alaska, it wouldn't surprise me at all. I have been to quite a few states. I live in Kansas, and the farthest I have traveled is Philadelphia, New Jersey, and Connecticut (all the week).

No it's not strange, why would it be? Some people like to and have the opportunity to travel...others don't. How old are you? Perhaps when you get older and get a license and car, you could travel outside of your state, for the experience.

I've been to all corners of the United States, The North, South,.Western and Eastern Coast (where I live now).)

I've also been out of the country to South America and Europe more than once. I really enjoy traveling....the whole experience of packing luggage, sitting on an airplane watching movies, being served food, seeing the sky, and meeting new people is fun to me.

I hope to travel to Africa and Asia someday!

I don't think it's strange there are lots of people who have never left their state.
Maybe one day you will be able to who knows it could happen.

I've left my state, but only to New York which is like twenty minutes away lol. I went to PA once. I'd like to go to places when I get older, though. Some destinations include Venezuela, DR, Japan, China, and so forth. Americans typically are fine where they are. I'm guessing it's a cultural thing.
